My father made one out of a sheet of plywood for his Hustler Scout. It doesn't look good, but it serves the purpose of mulching leaves in the fall. Ultra cheap.

Nice. Usually I make mine out of raw steel, but for the Exmark I cut and refabricated the plastic grass deflector into a blocker.

Awesome idea Jason cheaper then buying one. To keep your drill bits lasting longer use some oil when drill into metal. You probably know.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I use the bracket that held the rubber chute deflector. I had an extra bracket laying around from another mower. Thanks for watching 👍

No, the stock mounting bracket is pretty heavy and it stays down when closed.

Yeah, I can't see spending all that money when I can make one that works just as good. That shirt is pretty cool. My charming /charismatic wife sweet talked the Ferris Rep at the 2019 GIE . They took down our info and mailed us a shirt and 3 hats👍
