Much higher quality. Filament were very inconsistent, due to the same production issues I mentioned in the video. Two pairs of the same model would feel completely different. I understand the production issues, because my father-in-law was an executive in charge of QC. He made sure the Chinese factory adhered to his company’s specifications. If you can’t afford someone in this role, it’s typically a crap shoot. Guitar companies suffer from this as well. The Opus guys have a history in shoe manufacturing. So, these feel great. I hope they can find an audience with skaters.

I like the price. Love the design. Not stoked on the materials. We don't need to kill animals to have amazing skate shoes, it's 2023. Until they have vegan shoes, I'll be sticking with the Vegan Emerica Pillar.
