Yeah. Things tend to get samey the bigger they get. At a size this small, you have to get creative. Also i'm bored of seeing Appolo (from robot wars) and Tombstone (from battlebots) win like 90% of the time

Not sure if its a thing yet, maybe add a switch to invert the controls incase you flip over so it still controls the same. Also maybe use a smaller curved piece of plastic on the side incase you dont use the big piece to safe weight, this doesnt have to be big or heavy just big enough so it isnt flat and doesnt have to function as armor.

Why don't you use a Kevlar composite? It has more impact resistance without giving up much strength and it has about the same weight.

This is so great, because it's vastly safer and more accessible than 60-220lb categories. Not to mention that antweight, with the modern increases to power to weight ratio, better motors, and 3D printing, has really caught up to the first generation of full-size bot battles. Sure, a few of the original fights were crazy spectacles of devastation and power.
