I love Chef Wang's cooking, and it's really great seeing him cracking up laughing with his apprentice in the beginning. I love that they're having fun making tasty stuff. Rock on y'all.
Thank you for such wonderful videos. I cannot always get all the ingredients you use, but I really appreciate the way you show recipes step by step, even very complicated ones. This video was especially nice to watch because you are so happy throughout and are clearly enjoying your time with your uncle and Kuan. This looks really delicious. I like Kuan a lot, he seems very funny and he and chef Wang bounce their humour off each other nicely. Uncle is looking well, too. I hope he is getting on with his new teeth!
When I see Chef Wang's uncle it makes me happy. He reminds me of my uncle. My siblings and I visits him in the province when we were kids. Great memories from yesteryears.
Your friendship with Kuan shines in this through the small jokes and laughs. It is excellent!

Kalo di kotanya ada yang jual mie basah (jadi bukan mie telor kering yang dipackage gitu) harus pake itu mas! Rasanya naik banget kalo pake fresh noodles, apalagi kalo emang bikin mie sendiri :D
You can’t get simpler than this. After watching the video once, I feel like I can recreate it with 90% accuracy. That’s the best kind of recipe.

I love the laughter at the end. Nothing brings happiness like good people and good food.
He is actually correct that the first one prepared with veg oil can cause inflamation due to high omega 6. the second one is made with lard, which is mainly saturated fat without much omega 6.

I’d say any! We use Chinese noodle but I’ve also tried pasta. Pasta( spaghetti shape)can be used for all the Ban Mian recipe. Depends on what kind of texture you like. Pasta also good for having lower GI
