The best version of me is what I need to pursue... the feeling of earning my own self respect is most valuable. Thank you sir 🥰

22:20 dating question; 29:39 gastric bypass remains a poor choice, a bad idea ...categorically reject; 35:45 at age 50 and struggling in some areas....do we "give up" on ourselves; 44:04 self esteem vs self confidence --two independent phenomena.....self esteem deficit hurts at least 3x more than deficit of self confidence...Lisle cites the slow ramp of the success of THE PLEASURE TRAP as an example of his inner peace/satisfaction /self esteem despite the very limited initial acceptance of the book from the consumer (h/t to Chef AJ for accelerating the book's success..)

Chef AJ, please post the link to the replay of your summit so we can find Dr. Lisle's full talk. Today's episode was densely filled with new insights/analysis. Thank you both.

I'm glad Dr. Lisle has had such a padded and privileged life that he feels national politics never affected him, but it does drastically affect many other people, and the way he laughingly dismisses that is one of the only stupid things I've heard this otherwise brilliant man say. Thanks for another great interview, Chef AJ.

Dr. Lysle, why has the world not acted according to your anticipated actions after Diamond princess data was available way back in 2020?

I am a huge fan of Dr. Lisle but think he's got it wrong in thinking national politics does not affect our lives. I'd like to ask him if he still thinks this way in 6 months.
@blee3093 жыл бұрын
I so agree with you. I also cringe when he starts analyzing covid! He is fortunate and I think that is reflected a lot in his attitude toward politics.

So glad your candidates have lost that is why we still have a democracy! We are affected by politics it affects our air, water and our quality of life. As we saw from the crazy man who just left office who is elected President does matter. Totally disagree!

I absolutely love Dr Lisle but I have to disagree on his stance on politics. It does affect our lives tremendously! Hello.. women's rights, civil rights, freedom of religion etc..We have this lifestyle in this country because of protests (peaceful) and our insistence on changing policies=politics.
