I once heard this quote about herbs and loved it...
"Herbs are the friend of the physician and the pride of any cook".
In my pre-recorded cooking classes I use herbs in most savoury dishes and they are a key point to amping up the plants in your diet as well as supporting the organs in your body, and facilitating your tastebuds happy dance.
If you're just starting out with plant-based eating, herbs will take a basic salad and turn it into a flavour sensation.
This weeks blog email is all about how to marry up basic herbs like Basil, Parsley, Coriander (cilantro), Thyme, Rosemary and Spring Onions.
