Tibetan originally dont use chutneys in dumplings. Its the people of Kathmandu , Nepal that named dumplings as momos and fusioned with spicy chutney to make it popular . Dumplings are Tibetans and Momos are Nepalese both are same but named differently plus chutney in Nepalese is addition.

You are the only non-Tibetan KZbinr, I have seen, who has done a momo recipe video and talked about the origins of this Tibetan dish and correctly at that. Momo is commonly misunderstood as a Nepali dish, which is inaccurate although it has become one of the most popular dishes in Nepal and increasingly parts of India as well. Thank you for doing your due diligence & sharing correct information about our Tibetan culture with your viewers 💛

Nope momo is nepali Dish.. Its True we were inspired from Tibetan Dumplings but the the difference is we have added spices and all to make it a momo to our liking and the every momo dish in Nepal and India is what we eat in Nepal... Spaghetti is not chinese dish although it was inspired from chinese Noodles... So yeah we were really inspired from Tibetan Culture no doubt...

Apki recipes ke sath sath story bhi badi mazedar hoti hai. I tried veg momos and the dough with vinegar was the best tip. Never made such perfect dough before. Me and my family loved it. Thanks Sir!

yes chef being a nepalese i do agree origin of momo is not from Nepal as you have mentioned true story but don't call it momos its Mo:Mo chef...You are a great and true chef, the way you present the foods they are aesthetic...love from Nepal

I watch all ur series- because of different touch by you - authenticity and scientific way of food process. I am trying all Indian food- which I always avoided for not being able to understand the process and mixes. But your videos really help me now. I watched your video of momo - to test if you will make like other Indian do- but you nailed it! as original- story and the process. I am truly impressed. Looking forward more to you and your success- that will also benefit us.
