Love this! Sometimes my (skinny) husband and I get take out food from the food court at the mall. I get Chinese noodles and Chinese green beans. I give my husband 3/4 of my noodles and when I get home I add lots of steamed broccoli, zucchini and spinach to it. So it’s not perfect, no, but I think it ends up being about 600 calories and High fiber and lowers the sodium , and it allows me to have a day off cooking and let my husband have some take out. Sometimes, that’s important too

Thanks for teaching me. I just had an experience at the supermarket. Went in hungry, saw the soy crisps in those bulk bins and thought a handful will do the job of cutting my hunger, until i get home to have a bowl of veggie, tofu, rice soup I made. Nearly fell off my chair when I looked up the calories - 530 calories for 106 grams which left me hungry & wanting more. And the soup which I find very filling is only 384 calories. Could have had two soups!! Lesson learned on that one. Thought of you straight away. 😅

I really love how simple you make these principles. WWCD! Brilliant ! And also where you said, “plan for your worse moments, not just your best” That one was kind of mind blowing for me! So simple. Thank You!

Love this... I keep sharing with my beloved (but overweight) family and friends... it's so frikin easy (even having 'good' days and 'bad' days). Thank you for continuing to put it out there to share the 'secret'. PS: I'm a little Kiwi but live in Oz, and I was in Ruakaka in April (with my Dad) and spent time in Whangarei (most of my fondest memories as a kid, are there)... if you weren't so incredibly famous, I'd have DM'd you for a soy latte somewhere... LOL Thanks again for spreading the word!

Would you please do a video dedicated to sport? I remember you said you didn’t do sport for losing weight and I am conflicted about it because I saw many women doing lifting for fat loss as a way to improve the muscular mass and in this way burning more calories and getting leaner …

Chelsea i have a big question: what is the difference between a weight loss diet and what you do/lean with plants? I mean, even if it’s about calorie density it is still about control and limiting certain food which is what standard diets do… I don’t feel that eating one slice of pizza while one should be in the maintaining stage is food freedom, on the contrary… I get it if you are on the deficit phase but still… what about living?! 😅 where I come from it’s normal to eat one whole pizza for yourself and I would say that it should be fine too! To sum up: I want to feel free and unbothered by food but all these rules makes me uneasy because I don’t feel them different from classic diets rules. Could you please enlighten me? Or do a video about it? I think it would be really interesting

Hi, Chelsey. Do you have any recommendations for plant based eaters who are not volume eaters? I can not eat a lot at one time and I struggle to get all of the nutrients I need while eating 100% plant based. My career is very fast-paced and I do not have a lunch break. I take vitamins, but I know I’m not getting many of the nutrients I need due to not being able to eat a lot at one time.

Why do you include/compare 1 cup of oil to 1 cup of broccoli? Who would consume a cup of oil? I get the high calorie count but it just seems not comparable.
@TheMaahhgret Жыл бұрын
There’s so much oil used in cooking, adding major calories to otherwise light meals. She’s just showing how it can add up quickly.

Is your Dominoes different than USA ones? Tell us how you ordered that pizza? We don’t have a godfather type. And I don’t know that any of the choices are vegan. Lots of crusts have either oil or milk in them, same with their red sauce. So what pizza did you order?
