I got 3 vi peels and my skin has never looked so good. I still get hormonal acne but it’s nowhere near as bad. I don’t do anything but moisturize and use retina now. Please splurge and go to an esthetician. I saw a major difference between the at home ones and the VI peels. For reference, I am light skinned but I get brown spots because I’m latina. I hope this helps.

I’m black have gotten two chemical peels, two vi peels. I had melasma from My pregnancy and past acne marks from cystic acne. My skin looks BOMB!!! I have sensitive skin and I was worried but I peel and it’s great. I get medium peels. It’s a 6 week regimen instead of a facial and Botox.

@@tajmahaly7129 yes I’m getting my next one in 6 weeks. My texture is much better. Scaring is lighter on my cheeks. But I want perfection lol my old skin back. I never had that much inflammation in my life. I hit 34 and my skin snapped. So it will take more than one peel of course. But I’m in it. My makeup looks better. Skin looks less lumpy. I love peeling like a snake.

Just got a chemical peel last week. I'm trying to form a routine. Is getting a chemical peel once a month too often? I have oily skin and usually don't peel much. Extractions and facial with enzymes every 2 weeks or exractions and a chemical peel once a month - which is better? Love your videos!!

I get glycolic acid peels at the derm every 2 weeks. (Hyperpigmentation/cystic acne) They didn’t really give me a before or after instruction. It’s been trial and error 🙄 they also have me alternating benzoyl peroxide & this HQ/RA/NIA bleaching compound at night. When I get the peel, it starts to burn quicker than it should . How can I realistically actually use the actives she’s advise while not using them near my GA peel? I need help😩

Hi Jessica! Your derm is being extremelyyyyy aggressive and compromising your skin barrier in the process (hence why you a feeling the burn quicker than you should). Try using a mild moisturizer before and after using the tretinoin. It worked for me to create a barrier

Me and my boyfriend just recently did a 25% TCA peel and we caught COVID so I thought since we are stuck in the house now would be a great time for a chemical peel , well now we have some hyperpigmentation fro the peel . We followed the directs but our skin has became darker in areas . What can we do to lighten those areas ?

Hi Alexis! 25% TCA is really, high. Was this you guys' first chemical peel? I have more questions! But my favorite due for fixing hyperpigmention are the Glycolic + Retinol Peel Pads (great for brightening due to the Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid - only 2/3x per week) and Sunscreen to keep the hyperpigmented areas from getting darker. If i use a lot of acids in my skincare routine (salicylic acid, glycolic acid, AHA’s etc) for a significant period of time, does this compare to the affect that a chemical peel would have? Also are there chemical peel options for people who are on zoom calls all day? I don’t want I have peeling skin on a zoom lol

You could use the ordinary peeling solution ..wear for 10mins and wash. Just remember to use sunscreen..XO

I would wait atleast a week, most peels say 4-5 days after application but if it's a deep and intense one I wouldnt recommend it ! 🧡

All my black and brown ladies. Get them chemical peels they are great speaking someone who has acne in there mid to late 20s. I am on my second VI peel in a 4 pack series and I love to see the peel. I have done mandaleic and latic acid peel with my esti. Now doing VI with my laser hair removal office and I love it.
