Mannn when I saw that article say MELASMA, I just got sooo excited! Melasma is MUCH deeper than just regular hyperpigmentation. So niacinamide does more than just brighten. It’s getting deeeeeep into the melanocytes. Ahhh I’ve been using my ordinary niacinamide & I thought it was the vitamin c serum that was blasting my melasma! But it’s it’s the niacinamide 🙌🏾🙌🏾 But... I’ve watched the niacinamide part of the video multiple times & cannot seem to understand a clear reason for disliking the ordinary niacinamide?? I know you said the 15% version is too much, but the normal one is 10%... Which is the same as the good molecules version 🤔

Higher isn't better, a lot of derms say 5% of Niacinamide is enough. The Ordinary toning solution and peeling solution is great for the body up to 3 times a week. Sounds like since Estee Lauder purchased the company they have reformulated some of the products cause I didn't have a problem with the hyaluronic acid serum being sticky.

Morning routine: Cereva Foaming Facial Cleanser and Cereva SPF with Vanicream moisturizer Night Time Routine: Panoxyl, Ordinary Toner, Vanicream moisturizer, SPF, aquaphor healing ointment and Differin. Now, my question is when I use the toner, my skin starts to tingle; somewhat like a sting. Should I stop using it or rotate every other day until my skin adjust to it? Or I probably be scrubbing too hard. 🤣🤣🤣 I even just swipe once and it didn’t sting as much. Love your content and being informative 💫🤍💫 So, I’ll be returning the one I have for the one you referred, because my skin got darker from the sun and my dermatologist recommended that one🤦🏽♀️

I watched a Black cosmetic chemical formulator, April Basi, talk about Niacinamide and I learned that melanated folks don't need a high percentage of niacinamide. I was going to buy the ordinary product and I'm so glad I saw that video. I'll keep using my Good Molecules toner and buy the Niacinamide serum at some point. Glycolic acid broke me out so it's a no for my oily and somewhat acne prone skin. Great video!

Hey girl! Lovee your vids 💕 literally helping me get my entire life together lol. If you haven't already - could you pleasee do an explainer video (or series?) on each one of the popular ingredients in these products you talk about? (glycolic sumthin.... niacina-wha? lol) I'm pretty new to the skin care world but I want to be an informed buyer. And even helping us know which are more "natural" derived vs. "chemical" or toxic? I know there's plenty of vids already out there but you just give us the JUICE lol.

Love your videos, I’ve been binge watching them!!! But I am confused about the hyaluronic acid + B5 serum. You said it contains Niacinamide but if I’m not mistaken Niacinamide is actually vitamin B3. So did you say the serum contains Niacinamide because it has the same benefits of vitamin B5 or are vitamin B3 and B5 the same? 😅
@beautyasana51493 жыл бұрын
I noticed that as well but I don’t think B5 (which is Panthenol) has all the same results as Niacinamide though it’s an excellent humectant as well as emollient.
