Why not to show force instead of energy? Force looks easy to understand. Energy is something abstract.

Energy is not "abstract". Everything in nature is governed by energy and the attempt for everything to be in the lowest energy state possible. Forces are formed when energy is not in a balanced state.

1:27 "these negative electrons begin to attract each other"....How could it be possible?
@MichelvanBiezen
@MichelvanBiezen 11 ай бұрын
Electrons by themselves of course will not attract one another, but the atoms will be in a lower energy state of the two electrons share the same orbital and thus binding the two hydrogen atoms into a H2 molecule causes them to be in a lower energy state, thus the "attraction".

@@MichelvanBiezen Thank you! Felt good with your words! I just came out of the testing center. 120/150, the worst I’ve got so far, kinda upset. Got to find a way out. My goal is to get an A, as I’m applying to get in the honor college.

That shows that you have a high standard for yourself and that you work very hard. But life is not always about coming in first, or getting an A. That should be our goal, but not our expectation. We need to learn to turn the feeling of disappointment into a feeling of inspiration to try and do better. Every person that works hard will succeed in life.

@@MichelvanBiezen Thank you very much for everything! Got an A eventually. My professor invited me to be a recitation class leader due to my performance. And I got my first job on campus at the math assistant center this summer. A sophomore now! I completely agree with you: the most important thing is I learned new things!

Which point represents the newly formed molecule
@MichelvanBiezen
@MichelvanBiezen 2 жыл бұрын
The curve represents the potenital energy of the molecule as a function of separation distance. The lowest point on the curve represent the separation of the atoms will settle in when combined.

Kind of like LaGrange points. It's probably why lightning stays in bolts instead of just exploding out in a circle too. #NaturalPhilosophy
