Starting from my hair loss when it began falling out after chemo, pulling out my hair to show how much came out, then to when I was bald, and then my regrowth timeline in the last six months post-chemo! So much progress!
Be sure to check out my other humorous video when I shaved my head: • My Magnificent Mullet ...
This is a reupload because I realized I accidentally left empty space at the end last time!

Thank you for sharing! I am 4 weeks post chemo tomorrow. My hair started growing back about 3 weeks before my last chemo... lucky me. It is definitely picking up now, but still thin and gray 🤪.

So beautiful. I was told my hair would start growing 6 months after chemo ended. Ha! My chemo ends 7/13 so I will have a little hair by Christmas. Yea! I liked they way you showed the progression over the months. Very helpful and hopeful for me.

I spent my first session (5 days) on chemo, and it took about a week and a half before I started noticing my hair falling out. It’s unfortunate for the ladies.

Hey there Warrior!! I finished my chemo back in 2016, however, my hair grows really thin, pretty much like a baby that just born yesterday or a very old man. I have no idea what to do more. i have been taking vitamins like biotin, eat proper food, lots of veggies, fruits, good shampoos and i can't even make a hair transplant because i don't have enough hair. No matter how big is it, i always look bald, like you can count the follicles. Any advice?

Thank you for sharing your story, it gives others hope that they can beat it to like you. Sorry I hope you don't mind me asking a question as I've tried the usual looking on line but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for, it's been 1 month since I had my last chemo session and I had dark brown hair before it all fell out, at the moment it's growing back but blonde and I wondered how long after your hair started to regrow did you notice it coming back in your natural hair colour?

Hi Rosalind! I'm sorry that it took me so long to respond! When my hair first started growing in, it was more gray (it worried me!). I think while it was in the super soft stage (about the first 3 months post chemo) it was a bit grayer than usual for me but then started coming in thicker and more like my natural color and texture after that. (which is a wavy, very thick light brown with some sprinkling of gray, as it was prior to chemo!) I hope that helps!

It’s so easy for a mere public viewer/subscriber on KZbin to make assumptions. I can only imagine how it is for you emotionally........... scratch that ....... no one could imagine how it feels for you ......yet you do appear so matter of fact. To me, this is testament to your strength of character. I’m an old bloke and a long way from you so I’m sure as hell not “hitting on you” when I say the following. You are an extraordinarily beautiful looking lady, originally (as in at the start of this clip) with a true (I think the term is) natural beauty about you. If anything, the bald you is even more beautiful...... actually exceptionally beautiful. I’m not a bible basher or a hallelujah brother, but perhaps this is either God’s way (or the universe or whatever it is you believe in) of compensating you slightly for the hell you are going through with the chemo and the need for the chemo. People like you, with your disposition and strength are such an inspiration for the rest of us that bleat and complain about the most insignificant bulltish and who, in reality have nought in terms of the burdens of life. Because of what I do, I don’t get to peruse each and every video from each and every person to whom I subscribe so, without going off and researching all your clips, I’m not sure how the rest of your health journey is going, but in my own, crazy way, I wish you love and light and prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. I see various sports people and other “heroes” making a fuss about themselves and nothing and to me they are often just over paid individuals with bloated egos, and then there are inspiring, gorgeous folks like you, who seem almost without ego, and certainly an excess in strength of character, and I know who I would prefer in my life. And you truly are visually beautiful almost beyond compare , with or without your beautiful locks. I suspect much of that beauty also exudes from within. Love and light Indy

Wicki Life and, finally, I had time to go back through your videos to reacquaint myself as to just why I had originally subscribed....... although I haven’t (yet) had time to view any re: your current ........ health issues. I remembered that I subscribed because you present as such a genuinely lovely individual......... which has been strengthened with THIS one...... as I said earlier. I am an interstate truck driver (what you Yanks call “Over The Road”) here in Australia, so it means that I have very little time available for perusing clips, so please forgive my tardiness in going through the relevant clips....... I’ll get there ...... eventually. Also, as I said before, I’m a bloody long way away from you (and I can’t swim well enough to cross all them oceans) so there’s absolutely NO advantage to me if I were to be disingenuous. Although I think a church would fall down we’re into cross the threshold and I’m far from a saint, you’ve touched my soul, so, for what it’s worth, me and my Maker are gonna sit down and have a yarn about you - I figure if my deity doesn’t exist, nothing’s lost but a little time, and if my deity is as real as my odd brand of beliefs sustains, it may even help. One thing I know for sure, this ol’ world could use a few more of you. Kindest regards Indy PS. I’ll endeavour to go through the other clips, but whether or not you have to put up with my verbosity on them remains to be seen...... time permitting!!!!!!

It actually did come in very curly, but not until after I did this video (after about 6 months)! I should have waited a little bit to do the progress video, but I was excited to show the growth! My hair is now about shoulder length and I still have curls.
