The bolt with the temp gauge wires. Is that the bolt that is used for bleeding the air from the system?

Why folks add annoying music to a diy video is beyond me. And why wash the truck for us? Not just un-nessasary, but totally annoying as well

You didn’t bleed the air out of the system. Also you use tap water, you should only use distilled water. The inside of your cooling system is going to get very corroded with all those mineral contaminates from the tap water.

@insilico32513 жыл бұрын
@@ethanstephens8293 Leave the radiator cap off, fill it to the top, start the engine, wait for the engine to warm up and the bubbles to stop and finally top it up again and put the cap on.

If he has a water system (which judging by his house he prob. does.) He used the best water for the job. And plz dont say "soft water has salt in it" this is a mith and a lie. If you do your research you will find that DISTILLED water is actually the worst water to use to control electrolysis. I used DISTILLED water for years cause that's what i was taught untill my tractor mechanic told me about one of the oldest myths he knows of which is using DISTILLED water is best. I called to manufacturer's to confirm this. John Deer and GM both confermed that DISTILLED water is the worst you can use.
