It's the extra effort like this that makes a car look good up close in the bright sunlight. If you can spare the time and are willing to learn how to get it right, you don't have to settle for a 50 footer. Good job, you'll be proud to be able to say, "I did the bodywork myself."

Something about blocking I like it's weird. You may have more experience than I do but I feel the X-pattern is supposed to be just enough to the side not to groove - ie. mostly in a lengthwise direction. Go the side too much and now you have made your block 3" long and just very wide. Also have you ever tried a plexiglass block? Linear Blocks does sell individual ones you'd love it. I have Durablocks too but one missed a very small low in my Civic and it's bugging me whenever I catch it in the light.

I haven’t tried the flex blocks I’ve been eyeing balling some “big kid blocks” brand ones they’re nice I’ve considered getting a 2 or 3ft one
