My husband and I are setting out for an Alaska Cruise next week-carry on only. I always am doing “extra”. Feeling so overwhelmed by the challenges of this trip, although looking forward to it as well. I am a terrible overpacker. Pray for me, lol!

totally understand, been there 2x's, I too have over packed since coming from hot Calif. I have learned to layer & carry a couple of long sleeves & vest, dark pants to wear casual & dress for dinner Enjoy & have fun. I hope to return

I have two addtional must haves for travel...the Yummie Outlast Convertible Shaping Seamless Cami (lots of colors, comes in Plus sizes, eliminates the need for a bra plus a layering piece) and also POCKETS. I always appreciate travel dresses or pants with functional pockets.😊 I do love the looks you put together!

Beautiful outfit ideas! On our recent Alaska cruise I wore ponte knit pants for travel with a 3/4 sleeve cotton striped sweater and they worked out great. Paired with my Vivaia flats I was comfortable but still looked put together. Oh how I wish I could wear one of the bras you featured, no way would either give my old, saggy, DDD girls the support they need. I tried the one from Honey Love and it was a hard "no". I do love their shape wear though, I'm so grateful you introduced me to the brand.

I agree with you 100% with looking presentable when traveling, especially on a plane. I was in the airport last year, and saw a young man, 18-20 years of age, wearing a bathrobe over his other clothes! Gone are the days of really dressing up when flying. I am tired of seeing people look like they either did housework or mowed the lawn and wearing those clothes on the plane. Loved the look book and really liked the brown knit dress with the denim jacket, small and larger stripes together, and the orange cardigan look. It's always difficult to plan a plane outfit but I know what I'm wearing for my vacay in a few weeks. Thanks for the inspiration. ✈

So happy to see no atheisure! I used some of your ideas and wore black gauze pants, black & white striped tank, white linen shirt and a pair of black boat shoes. Super comfortable on the flight and looked put together. Received a wonderful compliment when I was waiting for my ride. A man asked if I was heading to Naples (a more affluent area in SW Florida). I guess I nailed that quiet luxury look. Kudos to you and my thanks.

Hiya Oralia, I just got back from a month long trip to Spain and Türkiye. I can’t even explain to you how badly I packed. I followed all your tips from an older video but adjusted it for spring weather. Spring weather in Houston. My sister who lives in Spain, said it was T-shirt weather. For me, that means it’s 75ish degrees. It was 42-65 degrees. I froze my tush off and it rained and rained! I had to buy clothes, a denim jacket, a sweater just to get by (and a leather jacket because). The stupid thing is, I knew better. I read the weather reports. It’s my 24 and 25th country I’ve been to. I was influenced by someone other than you and lived to regret it!

Oh no! When I went to Europe last year, I looked at the weather and it said cool and rainy to warm across the two weeks, so I packed accordingly. Turned out, 3 days in a massive heatwave hit London and Paris and I had fall-like clothes. I had to buy stuff to supplement, which was hard to come by in plus size and because it was end of summer so all the fall clothes were out. So annoying, lol. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi Karen! 😃 I really like the honeylove cami bodysuit, it’s way more comfortable than spanx and keeps everything in place. I do makeup here every now and again, but mostly I’m fashion and I try to vlog weekly.

I like to wear athleisure because I am freezing and extremely uncomfortable on planes and they allow me to layer and stay cozy, helping me sleep. I do keep it elevated looking (just because). Also I usually do carry on only, and sweats and sneakers are my bulkiest items 😕

I have a long haul flight later this year, flying from Sydney summer to London winter, so watched this video with keen anticipation. More plus size linen blend shirts on the market now, will probably go for that look. Wish I could wear bralets - but they don't provide me with any real support. Way, way too much wobble and sag if I wear bralets 🙁 I usually wear 2 bras to the office, but will only wear one on the flight. At least part of me will be comfy for the very long haul flight.

If you can get it, I would try the Honeylove bra with the pads and wear the bands crossed in the back for more support.

No but have you considered having your bras made bespoke? They’re more expensive but I believe you’ll get a much better fit that is custom made just for you, in various styles.

As an almost 40 year old, i love the wardrobe options you have, my biggest problem is Bra's I am 5'11 and 280 pounds and wear a 36M Bra. My options for flattering clothes are so limited, Large Chest and a mom belly. :( I have a 51-52 inch bust depending on the bra I wear. then most shirts just hang on me. I also don't know of any supportive bras for travel. I have to have an underwire or i just have a GIANT uniboob. I have yet to find a flattering strapless bra I can wear for any real amount of time.
