You’ve been popping up on my recommendations lately, so I’m subbing! Also, I actually thought Brisker had 4 concussions, but 3? Dang. Even Tua is still playing off his 4th. This one must be extremely serious. Edit: The 4th one I thought of is the one that mentioned brisker had a shoulder injury, but in game time, it was a head to head collision, I forgot what game it was, but I recall him doing the same thing he did against Carolina.

Brisker definitely has a Tua problem. This is the second time he has a concussion that has left him out for a long absence. (Third concussion overall). So his safety is at risk at this point of long term concerns. Praying that he recovers whether he ever plays again for the Bears or not.

Just a point on Hicks' stat analysis. You did a great job articulating the numbers, etc., but looking at pass coverage stats on a strong safety isn't all that worthwhile. Pass defense on a free safety would be better, but at the end of the day, if the DB was very good at pass coverage, they would be a CB, not a S. If you look at opposing passer rating on other SS in the league, you will not be impressed. Hence, my post. I hope Brisker heals up and I feel really bad for him, because he might be getting to the point where it's dangerous for him long term, to continue playing professional football. 😥

I think the NFL should have a mandate for ALL players to wear the helmet pads. It will drastically reduce concussions in the future.
