The one thing that stands out more for me than anything else, from what we've seen of these young guys in interviews, is the quality of the people they've drafted. There's no cast iron guarantees regarding how their skillsets translate to the NFL, or if they can stay healthy, but if you get quality people who make good team mates and leaders you are giving yourself every chance. Their selections mirror Poles and Eberfluss. Quality people. I hope it works out for them. I'd like for coach 'Fluss to still be HC in 10 years, because, if he is, we'll have had sustained success. Go Bears 🐻 👍

That was a great recap of the past 4 months, well before the 2023 NFL Draft was held and all the events and logistics that took place leading up to the Bears selecting OT Darnell Wright of Tennessee with the 1st pick. Pretty genius of GM Ryan Poles and HC Matt Eberflus to break the ice with some things to ease the college players before they had their interviews with the Bears F.O. at the Combine in Indy. Also, legendary Bears CB Charles "Peanut" Tillman speaking to all the Bears Rookies is extremely helpful (IMHO) to what to expect as these guys embark in their NFL careers, especially, what these players mean to the citizens of the Windy City.
