Jenny Pham so funny. in Jamaica we have people from all over the world that are Jamaicans. our motto is out of many we are one. I thought Asians have the same mentality.
@ahalyagoel19197 жыл бұрын
Natasha in order for your comment to make any sense, Asia would have to be an entire country and not a continent. Seeing as Asia is indeed a continent, comparing it to Jamaica is absurd. Seonkyoung is Korean and OP is Vietnamese. These are two entirely different countries with entirely different cuisines and cultures.

Hi SKL, i really love the way you siad "pho ga". i'm vietnamese and i really proud of that. And i asked my mom for traditional recipe, my mom said that the traditional way to cook pho ga is braise chicken's bone in at least 3 or 4 hour and then, you will have a delicious chicken broth and not have to use sugar to make it sweeter. And we don't have shallot fried in traditional recipe. we only use lime leaf and green onion in this recipe. Btw, thanks you so much to make this recipe. Love you

You can absolutely leave out ALL those herbs, serve it with some green onion and cilantro,bean sprouts is optional, then add a few drops of lime juice, that's how we enjoy Phở Gà in Hà Nội. Love your recipe ❤️❤️ But in my country, we dont use sugar to sweeten the soup, we boil the chicken bones or any kind of bones to make this. And we never use bean sprout. Just spring onion, lime, chili and pepper to taste. Someone enjoy vinegar. And Phở Gà will be better if you use vietnamese's chicken 😳😳😳 Let's visit Vietnam and try our Phở Gà, Phở Bò (with beef) and lots of food ❤️❤️❤️

Just used this to make pho for the first time ever!!! Very helpful and easy to follow video! Great thanks!! The only problem I had was that there were really no scums to take out and the broth came out pretty greasy. Also, not knowing about portion control, we made too much noodles, lol. We also will use a thicker bowl because it cooled down super fast. Lessons for the next time. Thank you for your video! Cant wait to try more from your past videos and will look forward you getting up and going again. Great thanks!!!!

I can't wait to try and make this the later on today when you were frying up your onions at the end of the video are you using white onions or yellow onions because I would like to make them fresh also I am like you I would rather cook them fresh myself I just wanted to tell you you are very beautiful and very delightful and a pleasure to watch and I pray the best for you in your life ❤️

It's shallot not white onion . You need to thinly slice them then let them dry for 1-2 hours( add a pinch of salt to draw out the water to bring the sweetness from the shallot). In a cast iron pan with cooking oil ( canola or corn oil ) brings it to a boil and put those thinly slice shallot opinion in . Stirs the onion until it turns slightly brown then remove them from the oil . It's important that you time perfectly, else the shallots turned dark brown and it will taste bitter.
