Wonderful and healthy butter substitute. Delicious!
Vegan, Plant Based, Gluten-free, Low in Fat
Chickpea Butter
½ c dried chickpeas
½ c + 2 T water
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 T nutritional yeast flakes
2 T olive oil
You need to soak the chickpeas for overnight. Cook soaked chickpeas for about 20 minutes or until tender. Drain completely. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy. Serve on toasts, crackers, etc. Delicious!
