Life is finite(if we describe it in a way that life is life because we feel it), but existence is eternal. But in all there are infinite possibilities. There being other dimensions and planets, different timelines(people who can see the future) testifies to it(although this is just a theory, as plausible as it is, it is still only that). With that said, existence is absolutely ridiculous, absurd. The only thing that makes sense is that you make your own purpose with this existence imposed on/chosen by you. Since your soul is eternal you can choose to die(surrender to exist as merely energy) or you can choose to live(life on earth, other planets or other realms).

Surrender is letting go all to the source(god); what spiritual folks call nirvana or the state of pure bliss. Life is human desire, emotions intellect etc; basically choosing to partake in this game of a grand design.
