I’m on year-18 with this band, and feeling like I’m still on the journey. Love seeing “the next gen” get on board. Just follow Floridabelle, and you won’t get lost…

The last two minutes get better every time I hear it. If my ears could dart around like my eyes can when there's a lot to see... they would do that.

This is their most played live song for a reason and usually the closer. You gotta check out the live version of this from the Lamentations Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire 2003 show. It's even better than the studio! I got into these guys about 10 years ago and it absolutely changed not only my relationship with music, but my whole life. These days I just shuffle the whole discography. There's hardly any songs I skip. It's the strongest and most diverse 13 albums of any band ever IMO. Hail Opeth!🙌🖤☠🧝

While I agree it's great, it's not "better than the studio". Just different.

Wow, another shout out. Thank you, and thank you Zitronepary, bryanmack5410, too. I really do appreciate your Opeth reactions. The joy you show is contagious. As with my previous comments, I'd still like to suggest first: Baying of the Hounds Coil/Heir Apparent and Hessian Peel. 🔥🔥❤Opeth❤🔥🔥

They changed me as well :) I relate a lot to your reactions to Opeth because it was quite the same for me. Hope they continue to move you like that, it is awsome and addictive lol I found out a lot about me from listening to them, don´t know how exactly but it is very real. For suggestions on live material Deliverance from the Lamentations DVD is amazing, still with Martin Lopez, the drummer you heard here, he is incredible and just perfect for Opeth. For new music Baying of the Rounds is definetly one to listen to... and Bleak or The Drapery Falls or The Lepper Affinity or Blackwater Park from The Blackwater Park album (considered their best for most of the fans I believe). Coil and Heir Apparent is amazing as well... God Heads Lament, Moonlapse Vertigo... and list goes on and on and on forever lol cant wait for the next ones

Hurray for you. Congratulations. You're on board the Opeth train. You're in for some treat. I put down some recommendations for you in the comments of your reaction on Ghost of Perdition. I would like to add April Ethereal, The Grand Conjuration and Demon of the Fall. Did I already mention A Fair Judgement and Master's Apprentices? It's all too much to handle, but you'll get through 🤘🍺

Welcome to Opeth brother, when I first got into them my Marriage barely survived lol ( kidding Kinda ) but every other word out of my mouth was Opeth.. and you’re right I’d kill to hear these songs again for the first time and it’s you’re also right it’s why I watch reaction videos to see at least others get that feeling that only this band gives me.. and you must be an empath because you convey your feelings very well, and I’m having a blast watch your eyes as you listen to this music 💀☀️ someone has Actually put together like a 3 hour loop of the end of deliverance 💀

It's gonna be a long beautiful journrey with this band ! With a lot of amazing another level songs, but for the next song, I recommend your first song from their eternal masterpiece album Blackwater Park, It's called The Drapery Falls ! It's Fu*ing dark, atmospheric and foggy ! The whole album is ...

My favorite song. I imagine this epic final battle in the desert where the sky opens up with angels pouring down, the ground bursting open with demons ascending, and armies of humans on all sides, all destroying each other in some kind of epic apocalyptic end to everything.
