A DEBT that I, nor anyone else who pays support took out personally. For the men, like myself who actually are in their children’s lives, we get treated terribly by the courts. Yet the drug dealers and true deadbeats get away with everything. Especially here in Philly. I see my kids regularly. In fact I was told by the Prosecutor at my contempt of court hearing that it wasn’t about being a great father and being in the kids lives. Wow. Basically I was told if I’m not giving the court money, everything else was irrelevant. So when did being a good father become irrelevant? I’m hoping that maybe you, a judge, can answer that honestly! Because I’m confused!

My son is 10 I finally said you know what I need some help I work 2 jobs and he never tries to call his son. I agreed to the lowest amount the state would allow and he still has only sent 30$. As a child of a single Dad growing up I’ve seen the bias on men and now I’ve experienced the other side of the coin some men do need to be forced to take some level of responsibility for their child. So what about when they don’t file taxes and you don’t get the income tax so my ex-husband deliberately stop filing taxes so I wouldn’t intercept the taxes while my child was growing up so what I plan on doing is reporting him to the IRS for not paying taxes I have not done that yet because I’m waiting to go to court for arrears but once I go to court for my rears and whatever the outcome is then I’m going to report him to the Internal Revenue Service for not filing. What about the ones who have children who are grown and the parent was receiving arrearages for paying more then their 50% share and they were behind on paying that. I was receiving it up til 2017 almost 2018. They stopped it due to a new Federal Law that passed they cannot touch or tax SSD, SSDI, or SSI that they had to stop payments.

The languages is written to defraud you, words like individual, person, child, support have a different meaning in law. US court case Blessings vs. Freestone. Not the best interest for the child. Title 4D is a contract and is voluntary but involuntary forces you into contract by duress, imprisonment, suspend your driver's license etc.. For instance Arizona does not have a statute of limitations on collecting the arrears and the parent who owes it is from Arizona and moved to Michigan, which has a statute of limitations for collecting of 10 years. They gonna say that from whence she signs up for support, that's when you should have paid child support...the kicker is they dont know the amount until you get to court...thats when they take what you make then, and calculate it to their scale...now multiply that by the 3 months you were waiting for court to establish child support, and thats how they get you on arrears as soon as you leave the courtroom....she needs to tell the truth...fellas, don't bring your pay info and make sure u ask for full disclosure of the contract in which they trying to make with you... if you didn’t sign the birth certificate you can request a dna test… before you are put on child support they arrange a dna test anyway. if the child comes out to be yours then you will have to pay back child support if you missed any payments. The child does not have to carry your last name. That does not matter.

Now what happens if the non custodial has to pay 50% of the obligation amount and is not paying it what happens with those extra payments? My son father is set to pay 125 but has to pay 50% of 125v which is 187.50 in total he only been making 125 what happens to the extra funds for arrears ?

You know... I personally have ALOT of money I saved up with ALOT of overtime... I've been trying to find out exactly how much arrears I owe in a specific state and I can't find it anywhere... No child support payment portal has the information, no "click 1 if you want information on..." Number... No where really... And I want to pay it off right now... I'm over 2,000 miles away from the state and I work so much that physically dropping all of the money on the child support services front desk is unreasonable... (I'd love to do it) but unreasonable... If I knew how much I owed with out going to the state or going back through a court date and everything else then I'd gladly pay it... So why make it so complicated to know exactly how much I owe?

If you’re not behind on child support, your tax return won’t go to anyone. But if you’re behind for both, whatever the amount for both is will be taken out of your tax return and will be given to both mothers. and what’s left after will go to you.

Can anyone point me in the direction for help! I apparently didn’t understand what I was signing, my current support has been over for 3yrs now which I payed religiously, but they went back 7yrs before they started the child support, and now I just got a letter saying they I have to pay the exact same amount until the arrears are completely satisfied in order for me to keep my license, I need to renegotiate the arrears in order to keep my license that’s how I make my living but I can’t afford to pay the same amount for what I calculate about another 4 1/2 to 5 yrs. someone please point me in the right direction😡

If you can’t afford pay the amount that they assigned you, you can go to court and tell the judge and they will reduce it. Or go to the child support office and talk with your case worker.

@@JudgeVondaB your honor I'm paying arrears for two daughters that's deceased one 19 was murdered in July 08 the other March 2012 19yr old was born December 2 1988 the other September 1 1988 not twins 19yr old remaining balance of arrears are $600.00 the other $10.000 I started paying child support for the 19yr old in January of 1989 and two weeks later the other $108.a month for the 19yr old and $138.14 for the other I have went homeless trying to pay my arrears it was time I couldn't afford to eat or able to buy soap to wash with nothing hurts more to me then loosing my daughter but I tried very hard trying to pay my support I lost everything even the lady I wanted to marry I can't get any help from the child support office or anything and I have a termination letter for child support because I lived in another state but the child support office wouldn't honor it so not I just pray about it but I tell you this I would give my life up right now if I could have my daughter's back especially just to make there mothers happy not a day goes pass I don't think about them if you don't mind could you please pray for me I never intended for my life to be like this with my daughters I feel like child support destroyed my relationship with my kid thats exactly how I feel when my daughters died I died too
