Chili Chicken I चिली चिकन I Restaurant Style Chilli Chicken
Here is my recipe of everyone’s favourite Chili Chicken.
These batter fried Chicken cubes cooked in a hot chili soya sauce are an Indo - Chinese Special. It is quick and easy and comes out exactly like a restaurant recipe!

Recipe :
Chili Chicken
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 Chicken Breast
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vinegar
2 tsp Chili Garlic Paste
2tbsp Cornflour
1 egg white
1tbsp Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1tsp Corn flour
1tbsp Vinegar
1tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
1tbsp Chili Garlic Paste
1 Cup Water
1/2 tsp salt
1tbsp Oil
1tbsp minced Garlic
1 tbsp Chopped Green Chilies
1 Onion, cubed
१ Capsicum, cubed
Method:
Cut chicken in 1” cubes. Add salt, vinegar and chili paste and set mix well.
Marinate for 15 minutes.
Make a batter of egg white and corn starch and a little water. Dip the chicken to coat well.
Heat sufficient oil in a pan. When oil is medium hot, add the Chicken pieces and fry till golden brown. Take care to fry in batches. Remove on absorbent paper.
Cut the onion into 8 pieces and remove the smaller inner pieces.
Cut each capsicum into 8 pieces and deseed.
Cut the green chilies into slices and set aside.
Dissolve the soya sauce, red chili paste, corn-starch and vinegar in 1 cup water and set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a pan. Ad crushed garlic to fairly hot oil and sauté for 10 seconds or till light golden in colour. Add the green chilies and toss on high flame for 30 seconds. Add the onion and capsicums and toss well for another minute. The vegetables should be cooked but crisp. Add the salt, chicken and toss. Add the corn slurry over high heat, stirring till the sauce is thick enough to coat the chicken and the vegetables.
Serve immediately.
