I hope LDV takes notes from honest reviews like yours, and responds in a positive way with making improvements to the vehicle.

Pretty decent review of the Plus, nicely done. Not sure what the comments are about bias in the interview, thought it was pretty legit. Good verdict.
@warcrabcyber99082 ай бұрын
In many car reviews there is bias, like for instance in many reviews you always hear reviewers talk about the Ford ranger constantly as if they are paid for marketing by Ford. However in some cases like this , the reviewer is being honest , the people that take offense are mainly Chinese bots. Once you say something bad, they come in droves to defend. This ldv is a new vehicle and its already stuttering as if the fuel pump is going bad. These are also known to rust . There are some Chinese utes that are really good, like the gwm canon alpha , but definitely not this ldv here.
@DiceyRicey2 ай бұрын
@@warcrabcyber9908 yeah I wasn’t really sure what old mate was talking about with the stuttering. Pretty certain that’s not a common LDV feature right there. I like the look of the Alphas though. Super nice interiors! Proving to be a good seller by the looks of my local roads!

Its coil sprung, hence it's correct description is multi link, absolutely correct description. Multi link refers to radious arms that retain the solild axle in place forth and aft, as well as the pan arm that controls side movement. Multi link is the correct description for coil sprung axles. Multi link isn't the description for Independent as you eluded to.

Just sold my 2023 T60 max and this is a very accurate assessment. Power, TQ, Trans are all good. Bit surprised ol mate didnt mention the deal breaker seats. They are just ass numbing after two hrs in the saddle and dont sit your beer between your legs as the base is so short it will hit the floor at some stage. Glove box is virtually useless, engine noise is 1/10 and the old model screen is 100% junk., so its good to see the new one has improved. Replaced T60 with the last of the Tuscon Diesel N Line that does everything well and not a thing that i can fault. 6.7 ltrs/100km from Mornington to Mildura and the idiots have gone to some type of electric junk only.

Old design and LDV/MG/SAIC rust like there is no tomorrow!! Qld buyer had to take LDC to court for his warranty claim after 18 months owning a T60, he was advised he lived too close to the coast! 95% of Aussies live on the coast, the dealership was across from the water front FFS! I am not a hater of Chinese cars and if the LDV group make a good car I'm there, love the price wars that they bring and I like cannon alpha and musso so cheap utes all good, just not a fan of the build here.

No way I’d consider a Chinese built vehicle - a lot of folk will be tempted to buy an MG for example thinking it’s a UK brand and will soon learn they’re actually built in China and cheap for a reason - if it’s not Toyota it’s not sitting in my driveway and wouldn’t touch a bogan Ford either - I’m very happy with my $18k 2010 diesel Hilux with very superior off-road handling and good on road dynamics - even has automatic transmission, ABS, cruise control, aircon and electric mirrors/windows - I’d put the $50k towards property.

Just finished towing about 2.7T of van 1400km. You know you're towing, but it does fine. Toowoomba range/Bypass was also fine, sitting on around 70km/h at the steepest points. Didn't get hot. For me run about 13L/100km compared to my normal driving around 8L/100km. Small fuel tank, so if you're doing a big trip, carry extra diesel.
