If you have $50k in cash sitting around, it's stupid to blow it on buying a truck, when you can put it in a 5% money market account and get 6% financing for the truck. Savings interest compounds and car loan interest amortizes. Plus, if something unexpected happens, you have time to sell the truck while you pay your bills with the savings.

Ah, I did not know it was called the chip guard but yeah, glad it has it! On my 2019, the bottom part of my rear fender flares are all chewed up from essentially getting sand blasted in the desert. I hope that does not happen in this truck!

I also heard they are not selling, but my brother now work at a dealership and he said they are selling as soon as they get to the lot. So, the sales might be a regional characteristic. But I agree they are way too expensive now. I drive and Gen 1 for 260k miles, no repairs required. I traded it in for a Gen 3.

5000 miles and my 24 trd sport the automatic transmission just stopped working . Gears 1-5 don’t engage. Really disappointed in Toyota RN. SMH

Congratulations on the new truck! I got my 2024 tacoma last month, and I'm loving it. My dealership in Fortworth, TX, only had one, and it was hidden almost like it was waiting for me. Even with the price tag, I honestly can say there has been no "buyers remorse." Even though the wife was a little upset when I came home with a shiny new truck completely unannounced. It's my first new, from the dealership vehicle purchase and a huge upgrade from my previous vehicle. With the new 4 cylinder engine, it's about the same gas mileage and fuel cost for my 45-minute drive to the office, which is perfect for me. Already got some upgrades. New tires, bed rack and a pelican cargo case. I'm definitely wanting to get into some weekend offroading/ camping. As for a video suggestion. I haven't seen anyone do a video on the pre wired accessory plug ins and Aux buttons in the cab, other than saying they exist. I think it would be great to see how they function and what accessorys are possible to use them for. I'm excited to see your upcoming videos on the new truck.

I'm so glad to hear that you kept your old Toyota it's always good to have a spare when your other one is in on recalls especially the first couple years of production😅 I don't usually trade in my old vehicle I give it to a relative for free as a gift I get more satisfaction out of that because I know a dealer wouldn't give me enough on a trade-in because they like to make their five to $7,000 above trade in on resale😢

Coming from a 2020 TRD Pro, I drove a truck really similar to Chloe's, and holy smokes it's a huge difference. More power, more quality of life upgrades, and more leg room in the cab. I'm 6'4" and have more room in the rear seat when the front seats are in a standard seating position. The powered seats like Chloe has go so low that it can probably fit many NBA players.

Great channel! Sometime do a show on 3rd Gen factory quality issues. When I changed my transmission fluid on my 2016 Trd sport with 50K miles only 2 quarts came out under filled from the factory. When I changed spark plugs again at 50K the middle spark plug on the left bank was finger tight, I had to replace that coil pack oil covered from the blow by, again spark plug loose from the factory. Maybe let your Toyota contacts know this stuff, as you show these trucks have gotten expensive. Ive had three Tacomas. Again your videos are Great! Thanks, Tom.

22 years ago I got a black lab puppy on the 4th of july and he lived to be 12 years old. Congrats! I'm 50 years old and probably the last new truck I'll ever own is my 2018 GMC Sierra z71 Crew Cab with the 6.2. All vehicles have shot up in price, especially after Covid. In 2018 my truck stickered for 56K but I got 10 grand off the sticker price - those days are long gone.

You made a great buy at the perfect time. Feels great doesn’t it? A year later, just before COVID, the AT4 was 65k and there was a GM strike. So, guess what, no discounts and no negotiating. You’re right because those deals won’t come back anytime soon. Hopefully it’s been reliable for you. I went with a 2020 Tundra Crew MAX 4x4 Limited that just arrived in the lot so it had the latest and last updates for that generation. The salesman didn’t even know it was a 2020. It had everything I wanted-Cement color, limited premium package, which includes JBL audio and safety package, leather seats, sunroof, TRD Off Road package with LED light package. Total price was 51, 070 and I got 2k off. No trade in.

Been a sub for awhile now when I had my 22 Off Road and I love my new off road 4th gen! It’s just that much better imo to jump up. So much little details in the refinements from bumper to bumper and if it works with your specific situation (like mine luckily) I would tell anyone to make the switch.
