Brownies are lovely and they freeze well. Make a batch for yourself. 😊 Then whip up a lemon drizzle loaf for him. I have an online friend in the UK- I'm in the US- who makes a lemon drizzle every Sunday for her husband's work lunches. She gets bored but he loves it.

Those silicon/rubber spatulas are no joke if you want every drop! I use one for scraping my kefir ferment jar out before I refill with milk. Also use it for a basque cheesecake recipe to get every last drop out of the food mixer. Highly recommend it but treat it well, they can crack

These were delicious and so quick and easy to make. I added some orange zest to mine and cooked for 20mins as my oven is quite hot. I thought they might be “cakey” but they were nice and moist and sticky in the middle. Definitely a keeper of a recipe and will make these again - although my next bake is going to be your dark sticky ginger cake! I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel and I’ve made quite a few of your recipes (all have been fantastic!) - thank you ❤

Yummm you make everything look delicious and so easy to make and even better everything is affordable!! Sooo many young people today will benefit from watching your channel!!! To buy a brownie like that, well first of all it wouldn’t be that large a slice and secondly it would be filled with all kinds of mystery chemicals that you couldn’t pronounce that they would call preservatives. We don’t need our food to last for a million years before we consume it! Good home baked foods are the best! Thanks for this recipe I’ll definitely try it! I just made these, mine turned out a bit thinner but that could either be that I got less air whipped in, since I only used a hand whisk, orthe pans might have been slightly different size. Regardless, it wasa very nice dessert and quite simple to make. Thank you!
