The six steps 1. I am upset 2. It's about me ( i am not blaming.anyone anymore and i am also not blaming myself) so take the proje tion back. 3. I feel it (Tune in on the feeling) 4. Is it a familiar feeling? Where did i feel this feeling before? I ask my feeling when did i have a feeling before. 5. Forgivenees. Forgive me for believing....that i am guilty. 6. To make a correction And embracing tje truth. My belief is not helping me anymore. Who i am is love.

How do you trace the feeling back to an early memory? I get nothing. Do you have to lay down, eyes closed? Is this just copied primal therapy? What about the Holotropic Breathwork?

I cant make step 5...cant remember when I felt that feeling...
@diederikwolsak82676 жыл бұрын
dear Tatiana, be gentle with yourself. It is not a matter of having a memory that goes back to the second day after birth, it is a matter of your earliest memory, that could be two weeks ago. Eventually in our experience, you'll remember more and more.

Where does intuition fit into feelings we have such as, “I have a feeling that this person is not to be trusted, and you come to find out that our intuition is right?” I’d love to be a part of a Q & A. How can I be invited to one?

How do you remember something so long ago when I first felt that feeling? I tried and I could not pinpoint to a specific instance. Looks like I have had certain types of feelings all my life which is not appropriate to how I am reacting to a situation now.
@diederikwolsak82674 жыл бұрын
Great question Shibu and one many people have asked. It is my experience that over time many people remember more specific events and circumstances. But if you do not now, that will not impede your progress. Since you already have noted that these feelings are familiar and lead to an unwanted experience, now it is time to recognize that feelings are messengers, they tell me who I think I am so I can now take steps to transform that 'self' I invented. I hope that helps.

this too is my chalange at almost 80 years of age. I have only recently realized more deeply how my "story" has crept back into my life which had happened prior to 30 years of age......created a whole new me bit by bit with no guide or therapy.........now it is becoming more clear to me that I still have more work to do and this step is where I get hung up!!!!

Would you say that it's related to all feelings? Not just being upset?Being worried, stressed etc?
@chooseagainsociety16 жыл бұрын
Hi Ozge, yes indeed, any feeling that takes you away from a sense of peace is an opportunity to practice the Six Steps. :)
@ozglc50116 жыл бұрын
so i guess it doesn't need to start as I am upset.It could be I am worried, I am stressed... Am i getting it right?
@diederikwolsak82675 жыл бұрын
@@ozglc5011 yes, it is important to recognize that worry, anxious, stressed are all forms of upsets. Any time I am not at Peace I am upset.

It sounds like blaming a victim. What if you are being verbally or physically harmed by a sociopathic person and unable to get away. It seems like you not acknowledging that another is doing a bad harmful act to you. I don’t see that as helpful in correcting a harmful situation to just blame yourself for harmful actions of another. Should people being tortured in prison think that it is just in their own mind? I don’t see that being correct or helpful in such a situation. I think being upset emotionally is a rational way to feel if being tortured. Focusing on quieting mind and breathing to ease one’s emotional pain seems more helpful then negating painful situations by blaming yourself for harmful actions of another, no? Not allowing yourself to feel your emotions seems unhealthy....
@diederikwolsak82675 жыл бұрын
Dear Noon, thank you for your reply. It is, however, never a matter of blaming either the victim or the perpetrator. What this process allows me to do is to uncover the 'self' that interprets the events. That interpretation is what I ultimately suffer from. This is a radical approach, I agree, and not one I would expect anyone else to adopt. If you were were to actually start applying the Six Step process to small upsets in your life you will find that, gradually, you shift your perception and then the 'self' you thought you were is slowly being transformed from 'victim' to author. Again, all blame has to be undone for me to be free.

And if the event was sexual or physical abuse how does one turn that into 'nothing' as if it was a raised eyebrow? This is a serious question. I'm not being snarky.

Yes, Theresa there are absolutely events that happen in people's lives that are devastating and, yes, they take time. Ultimately there cannot be anything in my 'shadow' world that I will not look at with love. My entire experience is at all times my decision. That is just a position I have accepted for myself and it has brought me more joy, more peace and more love than I ever imagined possible. And, no-one I know would ever consider anyone's experience a matter of a 'raised eyebrow'. Thank you for your question, I trust you will be free of any event that played for such a long time. I trust that.

@@diederikwolsak8267iv just stumbled on this video and iv pondered the above myself many times.i believe its about the level of consciousness one is operating from... at one level one may have experienced unspeakable horror, and it can,t be interpreted at that level of consciousness any other way .but what i am understanding from this video is that we can move beyond this, that the big learn is the conclusions we drew about ourselves from any experience may become in themselves shackles that we keep putting back on ourselves.
