🍨I've been really into the Sherlock Holmes stories lately, and I plan to finish reading them all this summer. I don't remember if you've read any, but I highly recommend them especially as they are classics+mystery+short stories which are all on your wish list for the season!

F. Scott Fitzerald’s short stories-classic and short stories! I love The Short Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald, which I think are all of them, but you could read Tales of the Jazz Age, Flappers and Philosophers, or The Pat Hobby Stories, which are smaller collections. His stories are all tiny gems and my very favorite short stories.

🍦Agatha Christie has some great themed short story collections. A Deadly Affair is stories with a love connection, The Last Seance is some of her creepier stories, and then there are seasonal collections.

Neil Gaiman has a few short story collections. If you haven't read Trigger Warnings yet, I would recommend that one. They're all a little off, a little creepy, so it would be a good one for Summerween I think.

I just finished The Orgess And The Orphans(have you read it? It’s so cute!), and immediately wanted more Kelly Barnhill, so I started my summer tbr with some dragons myself. When Women Were Dragons🤩 I’m halfway through the audiobook, and it’s so good- and I can’t even explain why, it just is! I love the way Kelly Barnhill writes a story, and the narrators are always on point! Have a good reading-summer everyone!🍦

🍦🥭 I already requested the mango book from my library. Sounds great. I recently read The Adventures of Amina and enjoyed it. She is a type of character I have never read. It was a very adult book and more fantasy than I was expecting since I usually read middle grades but overall very interesting and it’s going to be a trilogy.

I hope you were able to get a copy of Fourth Wing by the time you posted this video because I hear the book is sold out in most common places and I also hear the next restock of the book will be like a relaunch and the book won't look the same as the original release. If that's something you care about because I LOVE the cover and the sprayed/stenciled edges. I ordered one from amazon but its gonna take a month and I have a feeling it will be one of the relaunch ones 😪

The Forget-Me-Not Summer, by Leila Howland, you forgot about this book since you first mentioned it in a video!! I'm still reading book 2 but I'm gonna try to finiish it this month. I only read physically when I go to the doctor's office, so it's been taking a while to get through this book, but I'll be somewhere that I can read more and without the internet, I won't have my audiobooks so I'll be able to get through my physical books, finally! I have 2 going right now.

I just read the first 3 books in the Sinister Summer Series by Kiersten White and I think you would thoroughly enjoy it! The 4th book just came out too but my library doesn’t have it yet so I haven’t gotten to it yet! And I read the first book in the Winterhouse series by Ben Guterson and that was so so good as well! They’re middle grades (I’m 22 but I’m a middle grade girlie) and Sinister Summer is of course a summer series and Winterhouse is definitely winter/Christmas time but I loved it just the same in the florida summer!
