Juli Pritchett I was thinking the same thing. I want as many people as possible to know about (and maybe even support) Animal Wonders, and I think videos of exotic animals just doing cute things are great for that. The bait to hook people into the channel, you know? Like Kemosabe's tree fort. I also want to be able to say "I was subbed before it was popular" when they have 5mil subs.

I have a Quaker. She is such a cute little bird. She is deceivingly cunning and doesn't talk very often. I used to have a Quaker. She used to do pretty much all the same things. Laughing, saying "pretty bird", sliding whistles, quacking like a duck, barking like a dog. etc.. We used to have "conversations from different rooms. She had soooooo much personality. One time, the smoke alarm went off when we were cooking, so from then on, she started imitating the alarm any time we got food out of the fridge. (That got pretty annoying real fast.) God, I loved her.

Chopsticks helped in my decision to adopt a rescue quaker of my own. Little Zizou is my green baby girl and I love her very much. She has a lot of talent and love and it's been a challenge to work with her to come out of her she'll and share her true colors with me. Took a year for her to stop lunging at me when I walked by her cage. Now she let's me put my hand inside her cage and even dips her head for pets. Guys, Quakers are far from easy to manage, but it's so rewarding if you can make that trusting bond.

I'm suppose to be getting my adopted male 2 yr old Quaker tomorrow and I am so excited! he's already named but I'm hoping to change it....Will he be able to understand if I do like if I say his name to him a lot like hi and then his name a lot or is it too late for that..? also because he's young and coming to a new home how likely is he to become aggressive? I know every bird is different and has their own likes, dislikes and personalities but in general what causes a Quaker to become aggressive or is it just part of hitting that hormonal age? And I can only hope I can make my buddy as bonded and fun and we'll behaved as your lil buddy! such a cutie

I think that Quakers have some of the most realistic sounding mimicry than a lot of other parrots out there. and they are super cute. plus they are a perfect manageable medium sized bird for people who don't want a large one. but despite their small size they ARE a very loud bird, so they are not appropriate for people who live in close proximity to neighbors (apartments, shared rental housing, etc). I enjoy watching your Animal Wonders videos!
