"Oh My Brave Hearts" has always been my favourite song of the 1994 "This Way Up"-Album. I also like the 1996 "Beautiful Dreams" acoustic version very much (DVD).

The song could be making references to the Native Americans and I do not know Chris' true intentions with the song, but you know what, strange as it may sound it would be a great song for the 1981 Native American related horror (suspense and myth being more appropriate) flick "Wolfen... the movie is more wolves versus the modern world and the lyrics just fit

Exactly what I think! In my opinion these live versions sound way too perfect, they miss the little things that make it real. Still great, but indeed does not come close the 80's. I had a chance to chat with mister McBride once in a KZbin comments section, seemed like a great guy!
