Chris Paul to the Spurs is like him getting a scholarship to the Poppovich Institute of Basketball Tactics and Sciences. At this point, i wouldn't be surprised at him beginning his coaching career as an assistant to Coach Pop.

Having CP3 play for half a season is the perfect scenario for the Spurs young guards to develop. Seriously, any other team will suffer from CP3 regularly being out with injuries during the season, but it will be perfect for the Spurs. In another year, the young guards will be ready when CP3 retires as a Spur, and he transition to become assistant coach to Pop, which will lead to him continuing his career as a great head coach, like all Pop's assistants go on to become.

Whether how to attack certain defenses, scouting techniques, the other nuances of playing PG at a high level in the NBA. This is a home run for both parties because if CP3 wants to coach after his career this would be the perfect place to learn from within. Pops head coaching tree is legit insane, this would be icing on the cake for his resume if coaching is something he'd like to do

California vs. Texas: California has one of the highest state income tax rates in the United States, with the top marginal rate at 13.3%. In contrast, Texas has no state income tax, which can significantly affect the net income of high earners. For an athlete like Klay Thompson, who earns a substantial salary, moving to a state with no income tax can result in considerable savings. Do the math, He made out 300,00 ahead, it wasn't a lesser contract. People just talk, just to be talking because their trying to make content.

Everyone in the comments is playing GM like it's common sense deals lol. Warrior's are in a tough spot. That's the cost of Championships. To me, if they trade Jonathan K. or any of the young players, it's over. Don't. The Warrior's Chapionship days are past them but can be in playoff scene in future if they develop this young core. I feel that's WAAY more interesting than returning to what the Warriors were before Steph.

I doubt either of them expect a ring this year. CP3 will make a good mentor for Wemby, and Wemby needs a proper PG who will feed him. As a warriors fan, it is kinda weird having chris paul on the team. Hes a legend for sure but I think its better for him and the team that he goes. Wish him the best.
