Being a friend means knowing full well that when someone you know understand & trust (the way Jada & Will are supposed to know understand & trust Chris) makes fun of you, ITS NOT MALICIOUS Jada just didnt like the idea of Chris joking with her with that harmless "love the G.I. Jane look, Jada!" remark on national TV, so she pulls her weak husband's string. Yes, I said it: Will Smith is a weak man Theres nothing wrong with having a woman who is "the power behind the throne." But he should NOT have allowed his wife to manipulate him so easily. He is weak; lacks self control; & demonstrates that he'll do his wife's bidding without thinking for himself. That's why he's the one kicked out of the oscar's night ceremony for the next 9 years. @reesemorgan2259 Жыл бұрын
I think that's unfair. As flawed as she is, she did not instigate it, she rolled her eyes. That was frustration and not the Attack! code between them. Prior to this incident Will had written that he felt guilt for not defending his mother from episodes of domestic violence as he was growing up. The guilt is misplaced and is probably the real instigator of The Slap. Unresolved childhood issues will sabotage us every time. He felt weak and decided to fix it so he could finally respect himself. He was too blind from childhood trauma to see that it was the wrong path. I feel sorry for everyone involved.

👍👍👍Succinctly & perfectly expressed. Accolades to you for describing narcissuses in a nutshell & putting them in their place! 🥂 My reaction to Jada isnt so short & to-point, unfortunately: Plain & simple before the slap incident Chris, Will, & Jada were supposed to be friends. Being a friend means knowing full well that when someone you know understand & trust (the way Jada & Will are supposed to know understand & trust Chris) makes fun of you, ITS NOT MALICIOUS. Jada just didnt like the idea of Chris joking with her with that harmless "love the G.I. Jane look, Jada!" remark on national TV, so she pulls her weak husband's string. Yes, I said it: Will Smith is a weak man. Theres nothing wrong with having a woman who is "the power behind the throne." But he should NOT have allowed his wife to manipulate him so easily. He is weak; lacks self control; & demonstrates that he'll do his wife's bidding without thinking for himself. That's why he's the one kicked out of the oscar's night ceremony for the next 9 years. I doubt Chris will be asked to host again anywhere in the near future, but Im sure he's still allowed to attend Ive seen my share a vindictive & conceited women in my time. And although my intuition isnt perfect, still, it has an excellent batting average when it comes to recognizing a range of personality types. Ive never heard or watched Jada until just now. And 30 seconds of listening to her choice of words ("these two mature reasonable men should be able to come together...") & that self-convicted & conceited expression in those eyes gave me chills & enraged me instantly. Two not-so-ordinary red flags within the first 30 seconds. Im glad I wasnt in the same room with her as she said those words or I wouldve been tempted to break her neck for being so vehemently evil. For me if would be one count of attempted murder & one count of assault with injuries (when Will defends his wife's honor) by the end of the day No wonder my initial reaction to Jada is so eviceral. I dont have the misfortune of facing her kind anymore. I still work, but Im permenantly retired from corporate life for all time. If I ever encounter a creature like her again, it'll be too soon, even if its 30 years from now. And if I ever do have to cope with a vindictive monster like her again, I wont bear her 2 minutes before she hears "Have a terrific day, honey. I gotta get home now, my family's waiting." Youll never see such an instantanious disappearing act! And if theres a chauffer or some other errand boy for her to say "follow him!" to, all Im gonna do is laugh. He wont know what she's talking about: "Him who? WHAT man are you taking about? Are you hallucinating? There's no one here 😇

ive had ppl apologize to me from a position of power for them. all it does is excuse their behavior and they act like they convinced even you to not be on your own side. If Will Smith genuinely wanted to apologize, he should’ve done something like ask Chris Rock to roast him AND Jada in public, or idk help Rock with something he’s doing - assuming he agrees
@gaminawulfsdottir3253 Жыл бұрын
I agree, Krystal. Then, again, I have personal issues with people who insult in public then apologize only in private; the insult/incident was very public (worldwide, even) and any sincere apology needed to be just as public. But, the public apology should be paired with an openly acknowledged private, face-to-face apology, just as you said.

FYI - I have Alopecia: It’s probably the least debilitating immune system disability you can have. I literally forget I have it most of the time because it doesn’t affect anything unless I’m outside for long periods of time. Even then, i put on a hat or sunscreen and it’s no big deal. This “disease” is nowhere near the same as having cancer or Diabetes, yet she acts like it’s worse than breast cancer and she’s going to die from it. Her ability to act up how much Alopecia “changed her life” deserves an Oscar, it’s not a life threatening ‘disease’ It’s like someone who was discharged from the naval academy due to sea-sickness, but claims she deserves the same level of respect as someone who actually served/fought overseas in the Navy.

correct me if im wrong, but if her alopecia teally was so bad that she had no hair, we wouldnt see the darkened follicle spots of hsir all over her head right? it lookd to me like she just shaved her head for idk attention or somethin considering how shes always blabbering on about it.
@guysumpthin29742 жыл бұрын
Jada’s is not from an immune response condition. She said it herself “its just from abusing her hair with chemicals and weave traction, aggravated by a brow lift”. Alopecia has become a slang term for general thinning/ breakage . Will smith walked onto the arseneo hall show and laughed repeatedly at a band member with REAL alopecia , so the sensitivity/sympathy thing is fraud
