I saw George Carlin in 1975. It was sort of a theater in the round. But the audience section moved not the stage. I had to use the restroom so I got up and went down. He stopped what he was doing and said something to me and because I was 18 and very young I was embarrassed. So I hurried out. I found out later he got the audience to be involved when I got back because he knew I would come in and not be able to find my seat. I can't remember what he said or how exactly what the audience did but he made what I did his joke. My boyfriend stood up and waved his arms so I saw him and got to my seat with applause. He did smile at me lovingly talked about bodily functions and commented how many shades of red I blushed. He was wonderful. I could feel his kindness and compassion. How many people can say I was a George Carlin joke. I loved and still love this man. And when I pass I hope I get to go to cat dog and Comedian Heaven.

I was able to get in contact with his production staff asking is there any way I could get the book autographed. They told me that since he has been performing for so many years, he doesn't have any autograph sessions. I asked if I wrote him a note and told him how me and my friends memorized many of his bits, it would mean so much to have the book signed. I left the book with the staff, not wanting to intrude on Mr Carlin's privacy. Short story long, he did sign it and added a little note to me personally. It was the best note I could have ever expected. It was So George, and I will treasure the story forever. The note was Awesome!
