How to Add Space Between Alice Frame and Haslab Proton Pack - GB1 Version

This is a video showing my new design for a GB1 original Ghostbusters style half moon spacer for your Hasbro Proton Pack to have a more accurate space in between the alice frame and your new Hasbro Proton Pack.
This would make a great edition to those of you trying replicate the 1984 Style Proton Pack. It's a simple solution that doesn't require any drilling or risk of damage to your new Hasbro collectible pack. I Hope you enjoy the video and please comment!

Thank you for making the half moon. I just got mine in today and it solved 2 issues. 1, accuracy, and 2... the LC1 Frame I have is a legit old school military frame which does not have holes for the bottom screws behind the kidney pad. Thanks to the half moon, I it helped press the frame against the bracers tight enough that they will not fall out, and without having to use screws. Everything is firm, and looks great. Thanks again man.

Genuine LC-1 frames don't seem to work either. If you start by mounting from the bottom with the two long screws and spacers, then horizontal strap does not line up properly with the mounting holes for the two side clamps.

Hello, I'm trying to buy the screws for my proton pack that you have linked here but they're in metric. Do you have the dimensions for the US? I'm actually in the store right now and no one seems to know what I'm talking about. Do you know what the dimensions would be for US? You know meters to whatever cuz I don't know metric as I'm in the USA. Do you know the dimensions in inches and what type they are

You have to buy M6 x 25mm. Im also in the US but you can easily get these at Lowes or Home Depot.

Ohhh...OHHHH,buddy, you know what? Make spacers for each of the brackets. Check the references, the 80s packs had them at each contact point, and that would complete the look. Dude, at least try it. I promise you won't regret it.

The original packs had three points of attachment on the alice frame. Two at the bottom and one at the top. The two added brackets on the middle cross member bar that Haslab added were not present on the original 1984 packs. I designed this so that only one spacer is needed at the top to give you a decent amount of space in between the alice frame and Haslab pack without over complicating it and the keep the user from having to remove any of these original brackets. Additional spacers are not needed. Thanks for the comment.
