Funny what Larry said about the "curse" and people who aren't well known coming on his channel to try and prove themselves. This video kinda proves it because Chris is as "famous", if not even bigger than Larry, in his own area so came to this with 0 ego and literally just wanted to learn and have fun, at no point was he trying to do anything stupid or push himself beyond his limits hence no freak injuries. This is how it should be

Chris and Larry are the ones who inspired me on my fitness journey. After a divorce at 24 I started training pull ups because of Chris and got to where I could rep 10+. Then found Larry and fell in love with deadlifts, went from 135 for reps to 315 which is 2x bodyweight in under a year. Dream collab, I would love the opportunity to meet both these men one day.

3 to 6 months to hit double your bw in squats as a complete beginner??? I think Larry might underestimate how difficult it is for us normals folks to PR 😅 Any squat over 150kg does not seem like a thing someone does in their first year of lifting, even with good coaching (unless they already weigh over 100kg to start with)...

Definitely an unexpected but great collab. It would be fun to see Larry do calisthenics training too! Also for the clip at 10:10 , it's fine if you're butt and heels come off the bench for the unrack since it puts your shoulders in a better and safer position, but once it's unracked all the rules that Larry mentioned apply.
