I've been watching DB for my entire life and just now I came to realize that the difference in Goku's stance (2:42) vs. Vegeta's stance (10:10) while doing 1 arm push-ups is probably the reason for the tiny gap in their power levels. It may not be intentional but if you look closely at where their legs are during this exercise you can see Vegeta's doing the "easier" variant while Goku has his legs almost closed. If this animation was on purpose that would be a huge detail. :D
@evandow96492 жыл бұрын
If I’m correct vegeta was using like 500x gravity and Boku was using less
@ShadowsAlpha992 жыл бұрын
@@evandow9649 Well yes. But that's not the point. “Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.” Goku should have been able to do the same at this point but his technique in this very special and small frame that we saw there, just seems to be a tiny sliver better than Vegeta's. That's pretty much the jist of what's going on. At least for me. :)
@eee22-e8d2 жыл бұрын
Vegeta was doing more weight, but Goku utilised rest days to his advantage and a better all-round form. In terms of who I'd rather follow, it would be Goku.
@alexsm38822 жыл бұрын
Easier variant? You can't do one arm pushups the way Goku does it, I don't think it's physically possible to keep yourself balanced if your feet are together. Vegeta's pushup is how you actually do them lest you want to plant your face on the floor.

Bro those one arm push-ups are crazy. I remember barely being able to do one while vegeta was repping them out like one pushup every second at 350x gravity. The realization of difference between human and saiyan was so blatantly obvious😂😂😂.

Funny thing is, the day I started to watch Baki, was also the first day I went to the gym. I don’t know why people feel demotivated when they see someone better than them, to me, that’s what I set my sights to. Baki characters are BUILT different, and unbelievably well too

This could be possible if one max out their stabilizer muscles, balance, and change up those pose a bit. But even then you're be lucky to crank out 3 reps. More or less this would me a type of "Static Workout" much like the Human Flag. Meaning you would hold the pose in the Top position and don't actually try to do a Pushup. ( Referring to the tucked in One-arm pushup)
