I love watching these underwater action vids of predatory fish taking the bait. They're, like, swimming by, then they spot the lure, or whatever, then they zone-in on it; focus hard on it, trying to decide whether it's dinner, or not; then zone-out everything else out; focus even more intensively, build up the aggression necessary to go in for the kill; then, with blind determination - it's whoosh, and bang! Then it's 'cool' out the window, as they get whipped up into the great unknown (that's the fish great unknown, not the human great unknown) and their facial expression - even though fish are not widely know for their facial expressiveness, instantly registers one of the realisation that it has just been fooled, embarrassed, stripped of its dignity, daft, silly, pitiful, no longer in control of its own destiny, at the mercy of whomever holds the rod. Great vid. Chris. Looking forward to the next one. Raymondo.

Great little pike. my smallest pike was the length of a cigarette (that's what I measured it with), it was perfection in miniature really bright green and very pale in-between. Caught on single white maggot.

Chris you make the MOST INTERESTING and ENJOYABLE videos out there, can you please make a short video showing your camera and recording equipment as your picture and sound quality is superb, also where are all the cyclists and dog walkers? on the Llangollen canal by me it’s one every few minutes, not to mention the thirty plus boats coming through in an evening session (I’m just jealous!!!) Thanks once again for the best videos out there and really appreciate the care you take handling your fish it sets a good example to up and coming young anglers Graham.

Hey, Chris, superb video as usual, Sir! How would you go about fishing the chocolate milkshake water of the canals here in Warwickshire? The grand union canal must have 3 inches (7.62 cm) of clarity, on a good day, so what would be your method of ultra light lure fishing, please, mate.

Been a bit blustery recently so not managed to get out n fish. I have a Campark action camera cheap n cheerful battery life appalling so I run it on a power bank. The app allows wifi link to phone and can view what the camera is seeing via an app, do Gopro's do that? Wondered if they do what the reception would be like if camera was dunked if any for live feed. Watched lots of these vids, no canals anywhere near me, just the murky River Tees.
