Yea, there goes the $500.00 value of those cards. Once opened, value goes way down but then again, on TBBT when Leonard said about a Mint in Box Star Trek Teleporter Penny got he and Sheldon, "Once you open the box it loses it's value" she said, "yea, yea, my mom gave me that same lecture about my virginity. I gotta tell you, it was a lot more fun taking it out and playing with it"

I love that you opened it. Things like cards, toys, vintage clothes, vintage cars, none of these were made to sit on a shelf. They had a purpose, and it feels so great to use them for that purpose. You can feel the craftsmanship and know what you're working with is gonna last because it was made right. It makes me sad to see people act so scared that you're using something like a deck of cards.

Lee Asher says that Dominique purchased around 2,000 decks. Dominique told EndersGame that he bought 100 cases, or 14,400 decks. The final case of JNs went to someone in Japan. So they’re not rare, in a sense. They’re just hard to find because the remaining decks (not owned by Dominique or the Japanese collector) aren’t being put up for sale, or very few are. This is one factor that drives up the price. Also we don’t know how many were printed. My contact at USPCC says their records don’t go back that far. Also, think of this. 40,000 decks is about 8 pallets of cards. That’s a lot of weight to ship. A pallet is roughly 1,600 lbs. each. EndersGame has a massive article about this story with amazing research. He did his homework. I was the first to challenge this story by consulting with Lee and then the subsequent story months later.

Whoaa! Every hair on my body stood up... shivers down my spine.. the music.. the vibe.. You're killing it! 😎 Hell yeah! Fan freaking tastic! 😎👌 And yes, I knew about the card's and that they were bought by 1 person and although I was very little in the time it all happened, I have known about the Casino because you know children, we all wanted to be a magician and for sure one day you had on your birthday list a Magician's Box as a gift 😁 And yes, I just was too clumsy after year's and year's and my attempt was doomed.. And in that time I learned about Vegas, later on about the whole batch being bought, but not by who.. that part somehow I can't remember. That's why I have so much fun looking at your channel and that of your friends and others and LOVE to see how alive it all is.. still! I have always followed it throughout my life but on a very low heat level. But now, since you combined it with cinematography.. I am blown away.. and today for sure... This was.. bizar in my eye's!! 👌👌👌👊😄 Thanks for all you (and your team? Or is it Lee only?) do and me seeing people having fun, having a passion, is the best thing ever! 😊 Especially this time, this one is very special to me! Thank you...

If I'm being honest, JN is known for its "legendary" handling and feel. I see no point in remaking it with all the hype if it doesn't feel the same. Instead they should have said that these are going to be the Jerry's of our time, the new legendary deck of our time and done Jerry 2.0 with a more evolved design. That would've looked so much cooler.

Hi Chris I am fan of your content and I occasionally watch your videos for entertainment, but to be honest, I have an advice for you which is not related to this video it just happen to be your latest one. So my advice for you is use more fedora hats instead of baseball hats. I have seen you in a bunch of videos and I love the look, it's more magical. Fedora hats give you way more magical swag than just caps. They are much more stylish and way more cool not only for a magician but for gentlemen representation. I personally love fedoras and wear them on a daily basis just happen to notice they look great on you on some of your older videos and think you should give them more screen time :) Have a great day and thanks for reading.
