After some years of experiencing Pure O, I could already kinda predict the answers to these questions and I totally agree with them. Also thank you Chrissie for giving me some guidance in my OCD journey, it gives me hope.

Thank you so much for your honesty about OCD and the symptoms that go along with it. It isn't easy to accept, but once you do, getting onto the path to treatment is much easier.

Everytime you mention the groinal I have to think of the video with Jon Hershfield where he says he wants a bumper sticker "ask me about my groinals" 😂

Hi lovely! I have been diagnosed with hocd by a therapist I had through NOCD. I totally get what you mean about having a healthy relationship and a child with HOCD but I am living proof that you totally can as I have a partner and a beautiful daughter and have a relative normal and healthy relationship 🙈 but it doesn't come without its struggles like everything in life aspecially family but thanks to chrissie & my NOCD therapist I have learnt to live with my hocd and I can (sometimes) tell myself the thoughts are not me and they don't define me as a partner or mother that part is an illness and my partner is incredibly supportive which is also a huge help. Please don't think that you can't have what you want or deserve in life because you have ocd because I promise you, you can. Hope this helps! Sending lots of love and support!

Thank you from the UK, Chrissie. Your name would be on my 'what 5 people would you invite to a fantasy dinner party' list. Will be seating you between Albert Einstein and Carl Jung. If that's ok with you....?

I say I would need Treatment for OCD. However I do wonder if Harm OCD can be caused by abusive parents who used a lot of corpral punishment and other forms of abuse?.
