I saw “A Quiet Place” a couple of months ago. The whole idea of the movie is that nobody talks so it creates a lot of silence during the movie... well some group of teenage girls couldn’t handle the silence and were non stop hysterically laughing and screaming at every silent scene + semi scary situation. They were also kicking the back of my seat. It ruined the movie for me.

The worst/best theater experience happened when Maleficent 2 came out. I had no interest in it, but my dad really wanted to watch it with me for some reason, so off we went to the AMC. We sit down in some nice seats and I'm looking forward to this long overdue father daughter time, but then a group of loud teenage boys sit down in the row behind us. They won't shut up. They talk at full volume throughout the trailers, snickering and throwing food at each other, letting their giant slushies roll under our seats n shit. Other people are getting annoyed too, so me and my dad turn and glare at them for a good 10 seconds, and we think they're gonna be quiet now. 5 minutes later, they start laughing and yapping again. I'm about to say something, that is until my dad spins around and yells, "what the FUCK is the matter with you? SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP." Needless to say, those douches didn't make a sound for the rest of the movie. A Disney movie, I might add, during which my father told a bunch of kids to shut the fuck up. One of my favorite dad moments lol

I was watching "War of the Planet of the Apes" the other day and there were these two really annoying teenage girls talking really loudly and just laughing during tense moments of the movie. I mean, we were right back of the theatre and they were right at the front, but it felt like they were screaming in my ear. I was getting ready to get up ask the to be quiet, when I heard this booming voice behind me go, "SHUT THE FUCK UP", and I just smiled to myself. The girls didn't make a noise for the rest of the movie and at end I personally thanked the guy, who turned out to be quite a bit younger than me. The guy literally made my week.

Speaking of War for the Planet of the Apes when I first saw it in theaters on Wednesday while AMC was doing their movie marathon for old movies to play along with the new movie and before War started I had a few movie goers sitting right next to me they were speaking quietly they didn't cause any major problems in the theaters but one of them discuss the ending before the movie ever started yes someone right next to me spoiled the ending for me. I'm not going to tell how the movie ended if anyone didn't see it since I respect anyone who wants to see a movie for the movie going experience and War is a damn good movie but I was disappointed that someone was speaking about the ending since I was so excited to see it without watching any trailers and someone had to ruin the ending for me. Thankfully the audience was quiet and respectful while watching the film even the people sitting right next to me were quiet but man they ruin the ending for me and I didn't do anything about it since I'm always quiet and respect for audience members who want to see a movie.

I work at an Amc and one time a man came out of Baby Driver and complained about a couple teens who were ruining the film for him. So I went into the theater and politely asked them to stop talking and then walked down the hall towards the door where they couldn’t see me. Maybe a minute passed by and the teens started talking as loud as humanly possible and so I walked back up and gave them their last warning. Another minute passed by and somehow they got even louder. I told them to grab their stuff and leave and of course they didn’t like that. I walked them out of the theater and this one kid pulls down his pants and moons me. Then his friend takes the skittles he had in his hands and throws a handful at me. They then flip me off and run out of the theater. I really contemplated quitting that day. Obnoxious customers are not only the worst for the people in the theater but it also makes our job more difficult as well.

I went to watch Black Panther with my family in a local cinema. The screening was nearly full. As the film progressed, there were a group of kids (probably 12-13 year olds) and they were literally shouting out jokes about the film and even gave away the biggest spoiler of the film. Thank christ this was my second viewing. It was almost taking the piss because of how loud they were. Eventually they got kicked out.

I finally got a chance to see "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" with a good friend of mine last month. We went to a 4:00 showing, which is very late. At first, we thought we had the entire auditorium to ourselves and I was getting ready to enjoy the movie. Unfortunately, lo and behold, there were different families of kids; one of which was a mother, son, I'm guessing about seven or eight years old, and a baby. Another family came in with a toddler. Let me tell you; the minute I saw that mother carrying her baby up the stairs to find her and her son's seats, I knew I was in for a downright, terrible experience. "Jurassic World" had barely even started, and what does that baby do? Cry. I am not pulling your leg. Every fifteen minutes, that baby cried throughout the entire movie. It was so bad, I couldn't pay attention to the characters or dinosaurs on the screen. The mother had to take the infant out of the theater a couple times to calm it down, and that was distracting, too. What made it worse, was I could hear what was going on right behind us. I was extremely upset by the situation, at this point. On top of the baby, near the end of the movie, the toddler loudly says, "Look, the dinosaur's making a mess!" When the end credits started rolling, I cannot tell you how relieved I was to get the heck out of there. It put me in such a bad mood, I couldn't think straight. "Jurassic World" and "Jurassic Park," in general, is not some cutesy, talking and singing dinosaur film for babies and toddlers. Both of them are rated PG-13 for a good, dang reason. Babies and toddlers do NOT belong in a movie theater, at all.

So I took my buddy to see rouge one, I had seen it the day before. A group walk in and sit 4 rows in front of us, they all have drinks from the bar, two of the people from the group just wont be quiet. About a half hour in and three trips to the bar the guy and the girl have literally talked about the current scene and every time they one would get drinks the other would fill them in with what happened while they were gone, Loudly! So at a point I knew would disrupt the movie the least I let her know that they where ruining the film for everyone, she got up came back to me a yelled in my face saying her boyfriend would f.... me up. The family behind us goes then your boyfriend better be able to f.... them up to because we where sick of it. It was great they left in shame, and the best part was that the group they came with thanked me for confronting them "they do it all the time" one guy said. Also the audience applauded as they couple left.

They were talking loudly through the previews, something that bothers me but not enough to say anything. After all, I can watch previews on my phone. But when the movie started, they didnt stop. I gave them about two minutes before I said (in an outdoor voice), "Fellas, no one paid to hear you narrate the movie." Not another peep.

Great rant! The level of selfishness from those kinds of people is appalling. My worst/most satisfying experience comes from watching a group of teens get what they deserved after they took turns launching popcorn at different people scattered throughout our theater. This launching of popcorn went on for what seemed like half of the bag. Eventually they aimed at a couple near the front row. One of those ass clowns managed a direct hit on the boyfriend's dome. This man immediately took off his coat and turned around. He scanned the theater for the potential attackers. After a few seconds of unclear staring I slowly extended my arm up and pointed my finger towards the group behind me and to the left. The boyfriend gave me an appreciative nod and made his ascent. All 5 or 6 of said ass clowns immediately got up out of their seat and ran down the opposite stairs and out the emergency exit door. The icing on the cake came was when I noticed the boyfriend coming back down toward his seat chowing down on the half empty bag of popcorn. Victory.

As the movie started a bunch of teenage girls sat in the back row giggling laughing and talking during a serious tone sequence of the film. I had enough and said “not today!” Went back there and with a raised voice said I have been waiting a VERY long time to see this film. I can hear you from the front of the theatre! That reminded me of my experience of seeing The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 back in 2008, which actually was my very first PG-13 movie. I was about 12 and there was also a guy with some kind of disability that caused him to make a bunch of noises that were out of his control and even though I was pissed off with the noise, I couldn't do anything about that cause I knew it would be wrong of me to discriminate someone out of a movie because of him having a disability.
@laurawalsh28294 жыл бұрын
@@Lauren_210 Thank you and Kanus, both...for your sensitivity. I hope you could get perhaps a screening for another time for that movie. For yourself and Kanus, Tourette's IS a disability that shows itself in involuntary movements and sometimes disruptive sounds under situations of stress or anxiety. Kudos to you both for your restraint: what not many would do, because they don't understand the nature of living with a disability. (PS -- I do not have Tourettes, but I have a son with autism -- who is very into movies, attentively so -- and a friend with whom I have gone to movies with: since flashing lights can trigger a seizure for her, I need to be mindful of scenes. Imagine having to go see a movie and then encountering something in a scene that can do that to you.) The struggle is real.

@@laurawalsh2829 I was diagnosed with autism at a very young age, so I know what it is like to live with a disability. When the movie ended, I "accidentally" stretched my foot out, and he tripped and tumbled over the rows below us. Omg! What a horrible and immature girl and what shitty manager. Like seriously, do your job. I think the people who work in those places should have someone stay in during the movie, so that they can stop stuff like that from happening. How do people not know that it's impolite and against the rules to talk at loud in a movie theater?

I don`t get it... If someone annoys you- tell them to fuck off, and in such a way, they won`t have an answer to it. And it is not only about movies- that is rule in life to follow. You have no idea how lovley it is in shop, when some guy tries to be funny, picking on cassier, and blocks entire queue, and you just burst with "Hey, Romeo, aren`t you 50 kilograms too old for the lady?". How nobody fucks with you afterwards. Don`t be polite I was working part time at gass station, and this pair showed up, asked me to tank their car. In their car there was their three male friends, drining beer. I wanted to ask car owner about something, but since he disappeard inside station`s shop, i just gave up- basically made few steps in one then other direction, and returned to the car, wanting to fill the tank. One of those guys sitting in it suddenly put his head through the window and "jokingly" told me that if i am this "fast" they will complain, as i am slow as "fucking snail" and that i am "fucktard". My initial thought was to pull him out by the ears and kick his teeth one by one, as i don`t let people offend my for free, but i got vindictive and tried to do this smart. So i showed my head in the car, looked him in the eyes and said: - If you have any problems with me sir, if you think my services aren`t satisfying, you can always file in complaint... There is only one small problem, a troglodyte like you would have to know how to write first". He jumped in his seat, as his friends laughed at him, and asked me if i want him to get out. I answered with: - Please, my pleasure. There is a camera over my head. All you have to do is throw a first punch, and what happens afterward will not be my fault and will not be held against me. So, want to try me? I am in no mood for joking... Guy just sat down, quietly. I added. - Didn`t think so. Have good day Literally he didn`t make a sound anymore. Being nice works only on other people who are nice If i was present at that cinema, and that black girl would start behaving, like we owe her something, i`d grab her by the hair, and would just drag her out, pregnant or not. I have no patience or want to wait for some manager to react...
@heretyk_13376 жыл бұрын
Rashaun Browne- fact is, even most of rude people will back out if you seem to be about to rip their heads off. I literally scared three bigger muscular men one day, with just looking at them(funny thing i was just walking my dog, and i really just looked at them like "oh, three guys are walking from opposite direction"- i didn`t want to fight or anything, just minding my own, completly in my own world. I cannot help it, that i look like a serial killer). If a 180 cm tall guy with shaven head looks at you like on a piece of shit, despite the fact there is 3 of you, and all of you are way taller and more muscular then him... there are 2 options: a) he is fucking crazy, or b) he is so full of himself due to some nasty skills. Both mean- better leave him alone You can win the fight without even fighting. And it usually stops people from trying to be smart. But as you said, that is just the way i do things :)

I remember one time a baby brought its mother to the movies, and instead of the baby removing itself from the theater when it started crying, The mother kept shushing through out the whole movie. Really ruined those dramatic moments in the Dark Knight. I guess the baby was a really really huge Batman fan..

Went and saw The Avengers when it came out in theatres. Some actual idiot brought her baby to the film. A literal baby. And this is The Avengers, in a theatre, where the explosions were hard for MY ears to handle. The baby was crying the. whole. time. It got to that point in the movie where Loki is making a bunch of civilians kneel and one old guy is like nah, and I realized in that moment that I had no idea what was going on because the baby had been so distracting its screaming had just filled my head. Like a second after realizing this, there was a quiet moment in the movie and my dad shouted out (we were in the front of the theatre and the woman and her baby were in the very back and I could STILL hear it as if it was beside me) "No one is enjoying this, ESPECIALLY not the baby. Take it outside for its sake as well as ours" The lady did NOT leave. Baby kept crying. In the next 20 minutes that followed other people took my dad's lead (the theatre was packed) and continued shouting out for the baby to be removed. No one was rude, just firm. She eventually got up and left and I realized I had a killer headache. It's my belief that if you're gonna have a baby, either you get a babysitter for it every time you want to go out, or you don't go out at all. You made the choice to have a kid, so deal with the fact that you won't be able to see public shows for 2-4 years.

There's a theater that I am in love with. You can order food, and the employees bring it out to you without you even noticing it, recliner chairs, you name it, they got it. The other policy is that any talking louder than a very soft whisper is punished by getting kicked out from the showing. They literally give you a paper and pencil to talk to your friends and order food so that there's no talking. I was there one time, and these people were talking, within 45 seconds of them talking they were already gone. Honestly the best theater, well worth the expensive food, and they have tickets for like $3 because of the expensive food lol.

My bad annoying idiot experience: Went with my best friend to go watch Avengers End Game the day after it was released in theaters (Since in Australia, movies normally release on Thursday). Mind you, I had been at work all day, getting through a very slow work day getting excited to watch a movie that I've have been waiting 11 years to see since the original Iron Man. So I finish work at 5:30pm, go to pick up my mate from his place, and at about 6:30pm, we're sitting in the theater in a Gold Class theater, getting pumped to watch it. Most of the people in that room are massive Marvel fans I assume, as we were able to watch most of the movie in peace. But. When the final battle happens... There's one guy behind me and my friend who gets a phone call, answers, and after a minute screams out "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN IRON MAN USES THE GAUNTLET TO KILL THANOS!!!!" Oh man... The *entire* movie theater exploded in outrage over this. Me and my friend get up and throw our drinks and food at this asshole, screaming in rage over how this movie was ruined for us now. This man literally experienced the equivalent of Cersei doing her walk of shame, with people screaming at him, throwing drinks and food as he ran out of the theater. And because we ALL made a complaint, we all got a refund for our tickets, food, and beverages, AND we got a free gold class ticket to a movie of our choice that could be redeemed within a year's time. But to this day... That man has my eternal hatred for ruining an event that I waited 11 years to see. Fuck that guy, I hope he burns in hell.

The thing that annoys me the most is people who take their seeds to the theater. If the kid is quiet fine, but most of the time newborns/toddlers are going to you know...cry, and they knew this was going to happen. Get a babysitter! If they promptly get up and take the baby out the cinema, okay fine, no problems. But...Sometimes that is not the case and the kid just cries on and on forever. There's other things that happened to me for sure, but this popped in my head first :) Will be back later. Great channel man, I subbed immediately upon seeing your first review.

Had an experience when Watching The Rise of Skywalker sitting next to my younger sibling, who usually is pretty quiet during movies ( truthfully I never sit beside them often so I wouldn’t know what her true temperament was during movies). But basically what happened every 10 or 20 minutes is that she would ask me “What’s going on?” “Who’s that?” “What’s that Blow dryer droids name?” And *basically just questions that would be answered seconds later* and my calm responses were usually “Please just watch the movie.” Or “I’m trying to enjoy the movie so can you please be quiet.” I didn’t expect much silence but thankfully towards the end of the movie she was completely silent and respectful. I left the Theater with a smile on my face looking forward to what will come next from Star Wars.
