As someone who is attending a non Christian school, I’ve faced a lot of people making fun of my religion. But hearing this advice really encouraged me to speak the Word of God. So thank you💜

Gosh thank you ..it’s rare for me to even find videos like these and I’m nervous for college..especially as a Christian since all I hear around school/campus is parties and drama and etc. I feel like I’ll fail as a Christian and just get judged everywhere. But I know that with God, anything is possible, I know lots of criticism will come but we as Christians will get through it with the Lord’s strength 😓❤️

You are such a bright testimony ♥️ My church group is very small, I don't have any Christian friends apart from them but they're not young people. I'm not complaining because I am SO blessed in other ways. *But* I just noticed you said "we weren't meant to walk alone"... yet I am. I always have done.. and I hate it :( I try to walk with the Lord daily, but I think it's so super important to have a Christian friend/group of friends to speak to about the Lord and to serve alongside. To encourage and build one another up. I've been praying for so long now, I know God hears me and will either say yes or no to my request.. I am His child and He knows what's best for me. I never ask to be prayed for, because God's timing is perfect and He knows exactly where I am on His plan and which turn I'll take next. But I'm asking now, just because I feel so alone in a physical sense. Spiritually I know the Lord is with me always. But physically it's always been just me. Please pray that the Lord might lead a young Christian into my life! I have so many things I'd love to share about God and what he's done/is doing, but no one to share them with. That video was so refreshing though, I'm so happy you two are friends! God bless you

I am both really excited to transfer to a public university, but also really nervous because of health issues and my chronic illness. I wear braces at all times and use a cane but as my illness continues to get more aggressive, I spend more and more time in a wheelchair. But I feel like God will use my illness and my pain to help reach out to others.
@dagman857 жыл бұрын
Aurgo - He definitely can use your illness for His glory, but He would much rather see you healed and living a life of abundance in all areas, including physical health. He usually works through people, and especially other believers when it comes to healing. If you haven't yet, I encourage you to see if there are any healing rooms in your area. If you've been prayed for many times with no discernable impact, I would encourage you not to give up but to keep seeking out healing prayer. He absolutely still heals today, and it is His will for you to be healed and walk in wholeness. Blessings to you, in Jesus' name!

Thank you all so much for your love and support. God has used my illness in amazing ways already. At one point, because of my need to stop and take breaks, I ended up sitting in the middle of a path in the woods at a Christian Music Festival. If I was not where God put me and doing what God had told me I needed to do, there is a young man that was going to walk around me and take his life. But instead, I was there. I sat and talked with him and prayed with him and it was 100% God. instead of hurting himself, he went back to his camp and to my understanding was baptised the next day. If that one experience was the whole reason that I have this illness then i accept it with opened arms. I know that I will get my healing one day, but if that day is the day I go home them I will accept that, my only prayer is that God uses my illness to it's fullest extent. I am a tool, I might not work the way others do... but it gives me a different angle.

Hi, I'm also disabled and I'd like to encourage you to read 2 Cor. 12. Paul is talking about his thorn of the flesh and there is some debate about what exactly he was referring to but everyone seems to agree he was speaking of some kind of imperfection. He says that he prayed to God to take away this thorn of the flesh but in the end God tells him God's grace is enough for him. Paul also talks about how this thorn of the flesh has helped him to be humble. Wishing you all the luck in your new experiences ❤

Thank you so much for this video and to your friend for sharing. I really needed this. I'm currently in the process of choosing a college. I found a Christian school that I had no doubt was the one for me, but unfortunately I found out through researching that the school does things behind the scenes that contradict what it claims to stand for. This left me feeling very down, since I truly want to meet people who are passionate about God and spreading the gospel. I've been researching two public universities that are in the state I'll be moving to and they have so many awesome Christian clubs and organizations! I've actually reached out to many of the clubs & I'm so excited to get involved in whichever school I end up going to. This video encourages me and I'm excited to see what God will do through me & others to share Jesus & His transforming truth at a public colleges. Thank you again and God bless you both!!😊❤️

Aww that's such an exciting time in your life!! Seriously! :) And ahh I know of 2 Christian schools that have had the same exact thing happen - specifically with discrimination - which is terrible. But I know wherever you end up God is going to do amazing things in you & through you there! :)
@nikki10397 жыл бұрын
FarAwayDistance Thank you so much!! :) The thought of going to a public university was scary at first because the 2 schools I'm considering are known for being huge party schools & I was afraid I wouldn't meet believers. But, I've realized there are so many great opportunities in store for God's glory, even at public colleges! Aw, it is sad (about the discrimination)! But, I'm so grateful for you & your friend spreading Christ's light! This video is so helpful. It was also awesome to also hear about Cru, Navigators, & Intervarsity because those clubs are at the 2 colleges & I want to join them! Thank you again!😊💕

I need some advice, ok so I know education isn't bad, but I feel like I'm betraying God if I were to focus on my studies more than him? It's like I want to spend all my day with Jesus everyday but I also don't want to fail any of my classes, and in order for that not to happen I would need to spend hours studying and less time with Jesus. It's about 3 months since I began my walk woth Jesus and so I'm still trying to understand. I've always been used to focusing on school 24/7 but now I find it hard balancing both. Is this wrong?

Hey! Dont know how you are doing now but I love to see your heart for God! I struggle with this too but its getting better and better. I just wanted to say that if you really talk about this with the Lord he wants to show you oppurtunities to have time with him while studying! I think its also so important to ask with every descisions if it is our own idea or plan, or if it is His plan! Sometimes that can means quiting, sometimes that you have to take a break for a year form school and sometimes that means just continueing school! But if you do that, you will see that God will reveal how to deal with that descision! For example I asked God what to do and felt I should study Communications. The school is 1,5 hours away from my home so it takes a lot of time, but now I have the possibility to have time with God in the train for an hour everyday! And I dont always do this but its something God gave me and showed me! And in that way He wants to show you if you should study or not, and when and where the possibilities are for you! Because God is such a loving God that isn't angry if we dont read our Bible or pray, He is a God that wants to help us to do make time with Him! I hope this helps en blesses you! Praying for you!

in our sinful nature, we’re nothing more than wretched, vile sinners in DIRE need of the Savior, but JESUS, the perfect and sinless Lamb of God, came into the world and took the punishment we deserved for our wicked sins and was raised from the dead three days after being buried so that we may have the opportunity of salvation, redemption, adoption, and reconciliation to the Heavenly Father. we ought to repent and believe in the Gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ; we must be born-again.

If they are willing to listen to you talk about Jesus and read your information, its only fare if you do the same for whatever religion they may be promoting to you as well.
