Neel Parmar no it’s not if you listen to other interviews he has a heavy British accent. The accent in this interview either came from Bale staying in character or Bale slowly switching back to his own accent after having spoken in an American accent for such a long time

Well he said he tried to keep it all an American accent like he does in the Batman movies to be consistent but I guess talking on the spot without practice his actual accent gets caught up in it. Go to any other interview and he'll be a full-blooded brit again.

Christian Bale is an inpecable actor. I have been impressed with him ever since I saw him in Empire of the Sun. When I watched that movie I remember thinking to myself how could a child have that much depth and mastery of his craft. Everythink Christian Bale does in movies is an honor and privledge to watch. His skill and dedication to depicting the moment of expression is honorable and respectable.

No matter what you think of his (inherently silly) batman voice, it is impossibe to argue his is not the best actor to play the part. Thanks to his acting abillity he has brought the best cinematic Bruce Wayne. This is especially true in the first half of Batman Begins were he has to give 3 distinct performances and yet feel natural. I personally find his perfomance before he met Dukard very impressive. Hopefully Afflect's acting has evolved to point he can match that. Affect is lucky though, his body is way more suited to play Wayne, i am looking especially forward to see him play the pretend billionare playboy. For all the praise i give Bale, he had to rely fully on his acting abillity to portray the role since his physique is far from ideal. I hope Afflect gets to direct down the line, Snyders directorial inconpitence in Man of Steel was extremely dissapointing, lets hope it's just a floock, he has made good movies in the past.

I've always wondered how Heath Ledger would've handled the grueling press tour/interviews for The Dark Knight in the summer of '08. He never felt fully comfortable with fame, which TDK would've brought even more of for him. All the praise and extra attention could've affected him.

For me Bale was/is the best Batman/Bruce ever. Keaton is overrated af. Bale was superb, subtle performance all about Batman complex psychology, actually scary with this unique animalistic voice I love, unique approach. And Bale portrayed Bruce's inner torment brilliantly. First Batman/Bruce with actual substance, no bs. Keaton was only decent and in his costume, he was more funny than scary. Bale was the best

actually, in regards to the accent Christian Bale is a method actor who relies on the accent to help him stay in character and develop that character, so he adopts the accent of his next character to work on that character; so when you see him here, the accent he's using is in reference to his next movie; he says he has never given an interview in his native Welsh accent
