Christian I like the simplicity of learning this, I am about to buy a digital piano, its years and years since I played or was learning the piano, i was 8 so much is lost at 72 years young I hope all is not lost, need something for mind and body thanks

My respect always goes to the seniors who pick up piano ( again)! Well, the fingers are also a part of the body. But most importantly, piano playing is always advised by psychologists to seniors, cause it keeps all parts of the brain active. Memory, emotional parts, coordination, analysis etc. Well done to this, good luck! And be patient and kind to yourself with the progress. The process itself is part of it all. ;-)

Thank you Christian, I could never get the fingering right for that run from the high B. Also, for the "Like a dog without a bone, an actor out on loan" I like to play B A, A G bass on the left with G D, D C chords with my right. Seems a little more faithful to the song. Anyway, love your stuff, very funny but informative. Consider me subscribed.

Came here for the rainfall fingering. Thank you. I‘m sure you‘re aware that Manzarek plays A octaves as pedal notes in the bass throughout the Am part. Why don’t you? Just curious. Aus Unterfranken.

You might just have two or three organ sounds on the Roland. But I dont know Roland sounds..

Christian, I have a key signature question - I purchased your sheet music for this. I also have downloaded other sheet music. Your music is in t G Major but some other is in D major. D Major actually makes more sense with how it is written and how you demonstrate it. Can yo please clear this up for me? Thanks so much.
@ChristianFuchsBlues3 жыл бұрын
It's neither in D major nor Gmaj. It's in E minor, like the original. ;-)
