What breaks my heart is that those kids and parents heard and watched Kody say the kids were jerks and that he doesn't want to take to or be around them. I sincerely hope he recognizes this. Be a damn father and keep some thoughts and feelings to yourself. Be a damn father and work to rebuild your relationship with them, whether they want to be around Robyn or not. You're supposed to fight for your children, no matter what age they are. Robyn can fight for herself. She wants to play victim knowing that Kody will come and kiss all her emotional boo-boos. IDK how he looks at himself in the mirror everyday. Especially now that Garrison is gone. Knowing that he's in a place where he no longer feels the pain from his dad. Rewatching this today is especially painful. Garrison was clearly affected very deeply by the comments and actions of Kody & Robyn. I'm heartbroken for Janelle, Christine, the siblings, and even Meri, but I'm particularly gutted for Gabe who had to find Garrison. Their lives will never be the same 💔 Rest in peace Garrison. I hope those inner demons you were fighting are quiet now and you are surrounded by only angels.

It is not a child’s job to make sure they retain a relationship with their parents. It’s the parents’ responsibility first and foremost to foster a relationship with their child and if the child has no interest in doing so, then it is the parents’ job to reflect on the role they play in the situation and how they can fix it. They did not ask to be born into this situation….

Exactly. And even though my children are grown, it's my job to mend anything I have done, or may do, to damage the relationship bc I'm still the parent in the relationship no matter how old they get. My dad made it my job to keep up our relationship as a child. Just like Kodi is doing to his kids. When I grew up and realized it, I dropped him immediately. Watching this today, March 5, 2024, on the day Garrison has died. It is so heartbreaking to see this now. I truly hope the best for this family. I also hope that all the hard feelings have been worked through or were being worked through, because as a mother it would break my heart to be arguing with my child, and to lose them so horribly and so suddenly. Most of all, I hope Garrison is at peace now.

I can actually understand EXACTLY what Christine was saying about moving to preserve the relationship. I remember thinking I would’ve been better off if my mom wouldn’t have given my father exponential chances to be involved with me. That way I wouldn’t have had to experience one disappointment after the other 🤷🏽‍♂️ Too many empty promises made me numb, built a mistrust of adults and what they say vs what they do, and quite frankly caused me to grow up too soon and be conscious of my reality. I’m constantly preparing myself for the worst case scenario so that I’m not hurt or disappointed if it comes to fruition and STILL have trust issues til this day 😔 Moms did what she thought was best for me at the time tho so I can’t be mad at that. Robyn is the one who got Kody all flustered when Covid first hit. She went into full panic mode and freaked. I remember they (the wives) and Kody were facetiming and Robyn was in her car crying saying how scared she was. Kody was being the airhead jock about it until he saw Robyn acting like the wounded dove all the sudden. Being scared in that situation happened to a lot of people but it made no sense to separate all the households at their own determent over it. It didnt keep Kody and Robyn's house safe from covid so the hyper rules and tearing themselves apart was for nothing. Kody has to live with that. Robyn too.

The older kids reach out wanting to meet in person to do a gift exchange. How on earth can Robyn and the older daughters turn that into “they don’t want to spend Christmas with us?” They are both old enough to be able to read what it says in the text. Robyn clearly didn’t want to meet them which is why she was pushing FaceTiming. As soon as she loses control she turns to crying and this is what she teaches her kids. How will they managed in life!? Not everyone responds to crying like Kody. She is setting them up for possible failure. That isn’t ok. Toughen up.

I don't think she feels guilty, but I think she mourns the sliver of a relationship that she once had with her father. On her channel, she says she feels sad about what she and her siblings have, bitter memories and hurt feelings. But she tells him that he is wrong when she is defending her mothers and older siblings. But remember, ROBEIN has also ostracized her because of orientation, and she has love for her younger siblings, but they didn't let her be around them. And I feel this is why ROBEIN was pushing Zoom. Because of all her grievances with certain kids, she doesn't have to be around them or her kids physically.
