I know that Malaysian has an influence but, a lot of your recipes are home Chinese style......and you have a lot of them. I will be looking all around your channel. Home style Chinese is some of the best food. Thank you :)

Malaysian Chinese food incorporates purely Chinese dishes as well as some that are uniquely Malaysian Chinese i.e. with spices and Southeast Asian ingredients. This particular dish is Nyonya (Straits Chinese) because of the combination of Southeast Asian ingredients like tamarind, lemon grass, and cincaluk. Please enjoy... :)
