They could have solved this problem last year … teach Elly to play CF instead of making 25 errors at SSand they could have kept India and put McLain at SS… but that might have made a little bit of sense

Everybody relax, Krall has a new plan he brought back from a trip to China. It's a 500 year plan... but it's a plan.

I'll have to listen to this episode to find out, but I would love to hear an explanation of how doing absolutely nothing is "Genius." Sitting around, pinching pennies until the market is dried up, just to pick a couple players off the scrap heap and claim that they went all in this season (Jaimer Candelario "Press conference" signing).

Missed opportunity. Sitting back and thinking that a team that finished near the bottom of the NL Central and that everybody with a pulse knows needs an outfield upgrade and they do absolutely nothing??? Missed opportunity.

I’m ok with the move that the reds has not made, but I’m dissatisfied to know that the reds are not in the Teoscar Hernandez fiasco, is a disappointment, because I thought they were in it fighting to sign this guy, I guess we may end-up with the anemic light hitter Stuart Fairchild, I don’t mind having him as a bench player, but counting on him to do something he never has done, don’t like it, it doesn’t make sense, instead just give the outfield to Reese Hinds and that’s

I agree. I'm feeling more and more like Krall is setting us up to say, well there was nothing we could do. Where else are you going to go?

Baseball is broken and not the same game as 20 years ago. It's sad that America's pasttime is in the past. League retraction and a low salary cap are necessary to save our game

How can you say there are teams that can and can't afford Teoscar Hernandez in the same breath that you tell me the Reds are receiving a record amount of money in luxury tax revenue. Especially when the Reds 2019 and pre covid 2020 payroll was $135 million and $144 million respectively and Hernandez at 3 yrs at $25 only puts this year to $126 million with 5 years of inflation that apparently impacted everything but the Reds payroll. The Reds should easily have $40 million to spend this offseason still

Is it entirely possible that most free agents simply aren't interested in playing in Cincinnati? Everyone likes to put the blame on the front office but it takes two to tango.

They still have time and I'm sure the new manager is highly involved. I feel good about where they are heading into reporting. The thinking may not be so popular in Reds Country right now but....🎉 Go Reds

Patience is the right approach. Actually, players salary and terms work for the Reds advantage. They’ll be able to sign a player for 1 year for below the player market value.

There’s nobody left to sign that’s worth a shit.

The Free Agents the Reds are aiming for a likely to sign later so no surprise they aren't signed yet. I want more updates on potential trades but there's still an offseason to see.

For fans winning is everything. For team owners billions of dollars is everything. Basically the same reason we as citizens typically work for millionaires and billionaires and barely get by ourselves. It's breads and circuses. Human beings learned nothing since Roman times in that regard, but feel free to prove me wrong. Well, we did finally learn that fighting real starving lions wasn't much fun I guess.. 😅

Something has to give with the CBA. There isn't a realm where an owner worth 800m should exist at the same time as multi billionaires.

Getting 2 players to do 1 job sounds alot like platooning. That's why I'm not a big fan of platooning at multiple positions.

The Parity you see in the NFL? The Chiefs are an OT loss against Cincinnati from being in 5 Superbowls in a row. Even if you exclude this season, their winning percentage over the last decade is 100 points higher than any baseball team. The longest postseason drought of any team in sports is the Jets (NFL) The Jaguars decade long record is 100 points below any MLB team. The NFL has the least parity of any sports league.
