This is unironically one of Keanu’s best performances. Sometimes, he feels out of place amid other famous actors, such as the films The Devil’s Advocate and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. But he holds his own here. Also, his character is technically a rival to Harry, since they are both interested in the same woman, although they’re not bitter enemies. Julian is also a good guy. He respects Erica, he is generally friendly to others and when he sees that Erica is still in love with Harry, he doesn’t put up an argument. He just steps aside and allows Harry to come in.
