This was Casey Jones in name only imo. I think they should have made him the crazed, wild vigilante everyone knows and loves. They could have started the movie with the Turtles trying to track down this notorious Casey character they keep seeing reports on because of how out of control and dangerous they feel he is. They could have just had Casey trying to take down the remainder of Shredder's army which leads them all to the Shredder break out scene. No need to try and tie Casey in by altering and watering down his character by making him a prison guard. They could have kept in Casey's feud with the Purple Dragon gang to introduce Bebop and Rocksteady and use their gang to pad-out Shredder's depleted army which could have still led to their mutations later on.

Betrayed in Japan between Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki, mutation due to some circumstance, except the IDW comics which apparently have reincarnation for some reason. +itsarayshu, the difference there is that she didn't grow up and name them and walk over her father's corpse to "save" them only to put them down a sewer grate, which is the equivalent of flushing them down a toilet.

How to make a Michael Bay film that's based off of something from nerd culture: Step 1: Get only very basic information on the source material Step 2: Take the coolest character from the source material, in this case being Casey Jones, replace their entire back story with some made up bullshit, and make them whiny and unlikable Step 3: While your at it, just straight up erase the back story of any plot important character. The turtles were April's pets, AND Vernon is successful and competent? I'm surprised Irma didn't show up at some point working as an undercover cop who was infiltrating the foot clan Step 4: Replace any logic the source had with your own that literally makes less sense than how they explained it in a children's cartoon. If that's how the mutagen works now, how do they explain the four humanoid turtles and the man-rat who were shown to be turtles and a rat beforehand? Step 5: Make the CGI characters look like the movie had a budget of two dollars, one of which was spent on actors, and also make them look nothing like what they're supposed to look like Step 6: Hire an actor that looks nothing like the character that they portray. Once again, looking at you, Green Arrow. Step 7: Add terrible script writing and a plot that in no way relates to what the movie is based off of. Step 8: Make viewers pray to every god that's ever been conceptualized that you don't get a hold of and ruin another one of their precious memories from childhood Step 9: Make a Voltron movie

This was toned down slightly from the first one because, like with the sequels to the last Turtles movies, more kids were going to see them so they had to tone it down. Even though Krang didn't get a lot of screen time, I like how they realized his threat just as the Turtles did throughout the first season of the original cartoon. Just be glad this Krang never got a humanoid body that could expand to giant size. Not near as good as before!

First of all, I really really wanted them to become human (not forever of course) because THAT WOULD BE AMAZING. But from a movie production perspective, they can't turn them human. Since the turtles were voiced by adults, if they turned human they couldn't fit the 'teen' part of their persona. Thank you movie studios for constantly making adults play teenagers! And another thing, it was rather stupid of Ralphel to smash the ooze. They could've just saved it for a rainy day instead just HULK SMASH. Maybe Donnie couldve somehow made the serum temporary so they could still revert back their normal selves. BUT NO. RALPH THE ONE WHO WANTED TO BECOME HUMAN THE MOST SMASHED IT. Ooorrrrr, they could've made a different plot. So Shredder escapes prison yada yada. He seeks more power and a stronger army. So somehow he finds the serum in one of those meteors. His hired scientists test it. Bebop and Rocksteady intro~ Scientists do more testing and realize they can reverse the process. Shredder knowing that they could turn the turtles human, thinking they'd be weaker. So he uses this to his advantage. He lures them out, ambushes them, shoots them with the serum. Despite their weakened state, they escape (~movie logic~). Then we go into a wake up scene where they all freak out because their frickin *actual teenager* humans. (cue fangirling from the audience) then they could've done like a lesson about how it's on the inside that counts because they don't have their big buff mutant bodies anymore. They end up defeating Shredder again. And get their mutants bodies back. Then they Marvel us with a secret ending scene of Krang planning to invade Earth. Which would lead to a 3rd movie. A lesson learned. Human fanfiction accepted. The Frickin End

Kyle Jaynes -_- It's Greenwich village, thank you very much. Yes, there are gays that live in that section of New York City, but the Halloween parade is much more than that. So, yes, you'll see some gay people, but you'll also see some straight people as well. All walks of life go to the parade every year and bring with them amazing costumes - some they brought pre-made at a store, others that they made at home. Don't knock something you've never experienced before.

The most unrealistic part of this movie is Deandre Jordan bringing the ball up the court and continuing to handle the ball beyond the 3 pt line. The dumbest part is that the Casey Jones-meets-the-turtles scene isn't at the beginning of the movie so it can double as character intros AND Casey Jones could actually be in most of the movie, instead of appearing halfway through.

gamephreak5 the first movie from 1990 was great but the second one was babied down, had the annoying Ernie Reyes Jr and gave Donatello a very unlikeable voice and arrogant personality. only thing I didn't like about the 1990 film was not having Splinter start out human. Would have made his ninja master status somewhat believable.

The thing about Splinter's backstory in the first TMNT from the 90s was actually the TRUE origin of Splinter from the comics, which predated the tv series. It was the tv show during the 80s that changed things, not the movies
