My favourite funk bass lines are Forget Me Nots by Freddie Washington (Patrice Rushen) and Hollywood Swinging by Kool and the gang because it's so easy to play! I'll also add Somebody Else's Guy by Jocelyn Brown. Just too many to mention really.
