An incredible watch, I especially like (beside the thinness) is that the hands are properly long and that there are no other inscriptions on the watch

The best offerings from both Citizen & Seiko often leave the Swiss makers lagging well behind; only the snob factor holds them back outside Japan. This is perfect for me, an everyday business watch with elegance to burn. Heck, I may well even get one. I already have two Grand Seikos.

If you can't spend the $$$$ for this watch and want an affordable super thin watch, the citizen eco drive stiletto is thicker at 4.5mm but is a couple hundred, not couple thousand.
@luc1ferblack5 жыл бұрын
thanks. i found the stiletto then found this and was about to go hunt for it online until i saw your comment i will stick with the stiletto
@joeschlicht4 жыл бұрын
I just took delivery of a Stiletto this week, this being my first solar/light powered watch, and not usually being a fan of quartz in general, I have to say, I'm blown away. No it's not as thin as the ONE, but I actually wonder if the ONE would be *too* thin. I think the Stiletto looks cleaner than the ONE with no crown guard, with a simpler bezel, and slightly smaller case at 38mm (according to the specs), not to mention a 6 month power reserve vs 100 days of the ONE as reported in this video - all for a much cheaper price. I had a hard time choosing a dial color, but ultimately went with the Navy blue dial in the stainless case on black strap... which reminds me, if I had a thing to complain about, it would be the strap... a real cheapo in my opinion, and I hope to replace it with a better strap, the challenge, finding something nice enough, yet still thin as to not over power the thin case design...Oh it's a 21mm lug width adding to the challenge... boo.

Thanks for the very nice video. I would say this is the cleanest and probably the most beautiful of all Citizen watches. In your case, how is the real accuracy when weared daily?

How accurate is it? I have a Seiko Quartz that is about 1 second a month slow, and if it didn't have a second hand, it would be within one minute every 5 years, which is about the same as the battery life.

Beautiful but a tad too expensive. For thin watches I tried on the Bulgari finissimo yesterday......amazing watch but felt too delicate.
@blainecole54527 жыл бұрын
The Bulgari is a beautiful watch in most every way. But aside from both having thin movements, how can you compare the two?
@Chris-oz9qx7 жыл бұрын
Blaine Cole just to discuss the mass rise in cost simply for a thin movement This price is too much for a citizen likely down to the thinner movement.....the bulgari Octo was 247,000thb......the finissimo which is almost the same in every way bar thickness was 438,000thb. How many people are willing to part with that much more cash for a thinner watch? I don't think many.
@blainecole54527 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the clarification. I would agree with you that companies are appealing to a very small segment of the market with these thin watches.

If u don't like this Then go ahead and buy yourself a Tiffany blue oyster perpetual.This to me looks more mature and focused on technology technicality and engineering instead of fashion flashiness colorfulness and status.Japanese watches are known for their minimalism simplicity and modernity as well as their lifelong reliability.Hate me or love me for saying this but at the end of the day it's Casio Seiko and Citizen which are my real holy grail watches

I'm not a fan of the face. It's like it doesn't know what it wants to be, the hands and indices are very minimalist, but the Citizen logo takes up about a 1/3 of the face left to right, and 1/5 top to bottom. While that's not huge by any means, it's still big enough to draw your eyes. So am I supposed to buy this watch because it's simple and hides from the eyes, or because it's catches the eye? Just my 2c
